Bad news (lost one of my towns)

I have bad news. When I upgraded to the New Nintendo 3DS yesterday, I ended up losing the data for Croydon because I forgot to back up the files. Luckily, I still have Westerly and Granada to look after, both of which have more work put into them than Croydon. Has this ever happened to you guys?

I've been seeing a lot of stories like yours lately when it comes to updating to the New 3DS. Is its memory card not as big as the 3DSXL?

Well, at least I still have Westerly and Granada, because they're on cartridges. I might pick up another copy either off the eShop or at Gamestop.

I was afraid that would happen when I upgraded to a new 3ds. I'm so sorry that happened to you. I would be devastated to lose a town I put so much work into.

Update: On June 9th, I bought a third cartridge and made a new third town. This one is named New York.

That why I feel like putting lovely on a catridge instead of a digital
Because if something happens to my 3ds at least it'd just wasting a cycle town and no town that I gave a lot of hour to work on

Don't worry, I've gotten that behind me and focused on making New York as good as it can be.
