Bad luck with balloons?

So, I just had bad luck when I trip everytime I run and I had a balloon in my hand when it happened and it just went up into the sky. So is it gone forever or?

Yup it's gone, same thing happens with cup of coffee I believe.
If you turn off the game without saving, you'll probably get it back but if you did anything else important, then it's probably not worth a balloon.

It's sad for a moment when you realise what happened… I got very confused then sad :'( you can always get another though!
