First-time member, short-time AC player! My initial experience was with New Leaf which was a lot of fun and is prolly my fave so far, then I dove headfirst into New Horizons for like a year-and-a-half straight during lockdown so while I don't have a ton of experience I'm looking forward to delving into the series' past with older titles at some point! o^o

My main interests include retro games (generally Nintendo but I've branched out a bit over the years), anime & manga, as well as streaming on Twitch! I'd argue that Pokemon is my #1 interest of all time but more-so the older stuff almost as if there's a theme here LMAO XD

But yeah, hope everyone who gets to read this has a phenomenal day/night/etc. and y'all can feel free to hit me up sometime to chat about whatever <3

Paper Mario on the N64 is quite literally my favorite game of all time but naturally The Thousand-Year Door on the GCN is awesome, therefore I consumed it as the entirety of my "brand" XD

I'd have to say my fave villager is Ankha; she's got such a great personality and mannerisms; I also love her style & inspirations! I got her pretty early on when I first play NH and she was one of the few that really stuck with me so that was pretty rad :3c

Y'know I literally just got done reorganizing my MyAnimeList profile recently but if I had to pick my all-time faves: anime would definitely be Neon Genesis Evangelion & manga would be Yotsuba&! which I know are wildly different tonally but they hit me deep on so many levels from thought-provoking to endlessly wholesome so I've got quite a range LMAO XD

Generally speaking tho, slice-of-life is my forte but I've been trying to branch out a bit with genres so who knows what'll change in the future o_oa

Unfortunately I haven't played either in a hot minute; NL ended 'cause I had a friend group that dropped off towards the twilight years of the 3DS and suffered quite a bit of burnout with NH, however >3>
One of my favorite things I used to do in NH was hosting weekly swap-meets with my pals; essentially I'd open up my island to visitors and everyone would trade and/or drop off any extra or unwanted stuff they had lyin' around to see if anyone else wanted it and we always spent the in-game holidays together which was a ton of fun! ^_^

My next project is gonna be trying out the original Animal Crossing on the GCN tho just to track progress and observe the differences and--most likely--the quality-of-life changes and whatnot over the course of the series run which I'm super-excited about so we'll see how that goes :O

Yeahhhhh I love me some Oofuri!! I played a ton of baseball throughout most of my life so when I found it during the peak of my anime phase I was alllll about it. From what I remember my fave is Abe 'cause I was also a catcher XD

I only found out recently that there was a 2nd arc where they cover more of the summer tournament so I definitely need to catch up at some point, and even then come to find out the manga is still ongoing?? Which is wild :O

Oooooh okay, so! Favorite Paper Mario character... That's super-tough but I'd prolly have to go with Vivian from TTYD on the GCN! I feel like she gets the most fleshed-out character development & story out of all the partners and her story really resonates with anyone just looking for acceptance in a world filled with contempt for what's different; something that I believe everyone struggles with at some point but it's so rewarding to find the support that we all crave <3 (went a lot deeper on that than I expected but oops not sorry > )
