Ayone else think Tangy was a guy?

I actualy freaked out a bit when I saw Tangy in the Dream Suite for the first time and I heard the Peppy voice come out of her.

Also, probably not entirely related to the main topic since I felt he was a male from the very start, but I actualy laughed for an ENTIRE minute when I got Static the Squirrel on my campsite. I expected him to be Smug or at least Lazy and the sudden deepness of his Cranky voice combined with his cute small design just killed me!

That does remind me of how I wasnt sure of what gender or personality Vladimir was going to be when I first saw him as one of my initial villagers and, again, I definitively did NOT expect the deepness of Cranky villagers to come out of that little pink colorful thing.

Tangy I figured was a girl though! Probably because I had her in WW and dresses were a bit more evident then haha.

I also thought Bluebear was a guy, and I called her my husband prior to finding out she was a peppy girl.
I thought she was a lazy villager. Oh the disappointment.

I may have thought she was a boy in pictures before, but that instantly would have disappeared in town considering her name tag is pink and she has a high peppy voice haha.

Protip: Do you see the oval with their names on it when you talk to them? If the color of the oval is Blue,it is a guy. If the color of the oval is Pink it is a girl. This does not seem to apply to NPCs though. Their ovals are always green.

Yep. I honestly never noticed the name tag system before, either. Maybe I'm just extremely unobservant, but if you played the voices for me I'd probably get most of them wrong. They all sound pretty similar to me, except cranky villagers.

Most of the bear cubs seem pretty neutral to me, except Barold.
