Hello everyone!
Sometimes I'm not able to play for some days, or just needing a little break or whatever. But I'm always sooo afraid that some of my villagers have moved while I was not playing! Does anyone know, if changing the DS clock to the day you last played, and THEN putting the game in the console result in tricking the game into thinking no days passed?
Would it be a way to avoid your favorite villager from moving while you were away?

I know there is a way to change the in game clock so that everthing is as you left it, but i've never done it.

I have four games and i can't possibly play them all everyday.I stop playing on a day that a villager tells me they're moving.I tell them to stay and when i play again, no one has moved. I've had the game since it was released and have never lost a villager.

Yeah, it does that. Even when it's in you can trick it. This was useful when I actually played ac and cycled, but now I dont.

Or the day you want to play, don't load a character, create a new one then check if anyone has moved out or is in boxes. If not then close and load as mayor. If yes then on the ds clock set the day back to when you last played or whatever and they should at some point ask to leave so you can stop them.

On notepad, I just make note of the last day I played, then make sure to load on that day when playing again.

If you stop someone from moving out on the same day that you stop playing the game, you can go an indefinite amount of time without having to worry about anyone moving out. This is the trick I've been using for the past few months :)

I forgot about that; thank you.

I do the same thing. In fact, I play anywhere from 1-3 weeks ahead of time. Then when I'm not able to play for a few days, I don't have to catch up. I just change the date back on my 3DS. I have a little two year planner that I bought from a dollar store. I cross off the days to keep myself organized. It's also helpful to write down birthdays, so I'll remember to have a present when I go to a party.

I stopped a villager from moving before taking a break. Put the game in the case and put a label on the outside of the case.
Mark the date and time last played.
If you have 2 copies the activity log wouldn't tell you when you last played.
I started mine up but went with the date Isabelle said it was. It was 3 months ahead and Vic was trying to get into my house at the start. Talk to all your villagers for a mover. I got a rumor in 10 minutes. Save/quit and started it back up. Stopped the mover. The next day Boomer gave me a picture for a piece of perfect fruit.

Well, when I was sick and didn't play for a week I went back to my original date (April 5) and loaded it up and everything was a-ok. All my flowers I watered were still sparkling. Apple still wasn't moved in, just a house plot. Everyone remembered us talking. But if it's on the day of moving (out), you can't change it c:
