Favourite movie ever?
Always hard to choose just one. A few favorites I talked about at length here include Am?lie, Kiki's Delivery Service, and Blade Runner.
If I might stretch the definition (perhaps to the point of meaninglessness) by including a series, I very much enjoyed both seasons of Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. I was particularly affected by the episode 'Affection,' which detailed how the main protagonist, Motoko Kusanagi (aka 'The Major'), became a full cyborg after a tragic childhood incident. And if you are unfamiliar with the show, it might best be described as a cyberpunk crime noir. Highly philosophical, a lot of political intrigue, but decent action sequences and character development. A slow churner, for sure, but one that keeps paying off.
If you mean do I look forward to it, did not even know one was coming. There one was recently, as I remember being awed by a red moon a few months ago. Not leaving the city any time soon, though, so no chance of getting a better view of the heavens.

Are you scared of heights?
This question makes me nostalgic, though of course it can be tricky to define what a 'children's movie' is. Loved Coraline. Cannot get enough of Nightmare Before Christmas. Fantastic Mr. Fox, James and the Giant Peach, and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (along with the remake with Johnny Depp) are a terrific film introduction to Roald Dahl. Who can forget The Iron Giant? The Land Before Time, The Rescuers Down Under, The Neverending Story, Labyrinth... the list goes on and on. Anything by Hayao Miyazaki.
I love 'children's literature,' both in film and book format. In fact, one of my all-time favorite stories was written for children: The Little Prince.

You suspected I was a religious skeptic before asking the question?
I never paid much attention to American superhero comics in general, but I know even less about Spider-Man villains than Batman villains.
That said, I have an unorthodox answer for my favorite Batman villain: The Red Hood in Batman: Under the Red Hood. If you saw the movie or read about it, you know why this might be an unorthodox answer. When I found out the identity of the Red Hood, I became more sympathetic, and loved the direct challenge to Batman's unshakable morality in regards to not killing people (directly, at least).
Not sure. Never had to jump out of a plane before, or do something similarly thrilling involving heights.
Write stories. I do not have much control over the world around me, so I make my own worlds and control them.

Have you ever found a picture in your basement of you a couple years ago, and it filled you with nostalgia and reminded you on the fact on how far you've come, and that you've changed so much, and you don't want to be the person you were when that picture was taken?
I have seen old pictures of myself, but I always felt strangely disconnected from them, as if they had no context: as if there was nothing to extrapolate from the image. Relatedly, a lot of people can remember their youngest memory, but I cannot name a particular memory that is likely to be the earliest. I have several images in my head that fill me with nostalgia, sure, but nothing physical.

Do you like school?
Bit of a hectic day, but fine, yes. And certainly felt less wasteful than yesterday when I drove up to a class that was canceled, then had to change a tire. Actually, felt good to work on my truck, so that was not bad, but wasting gas is a big no. Also, yay, payday.

Yes. But I do not want to get too used to being a student. I am enjoying also being employed by the school, since it prepares me for teaching at grade school when I get credentials.
What I find most fascinating about college is that the grade school classes are not so much concerned with teaching (much less teaching how to learn) as trivia, at least here in the San Bernardino area, so a lot of students who show up to college are still wayward and working much harder to get 'answers' to trivia from others rather than working out the complex problems presented to them, and just going through the motions of each class each day rather than trying to get out. And I am not just talking about the community colleges: Cal State San Bernardino has retention and drop out rates that, though not as abysmal, are not far better.
Ironically, I like school because I hated school. As a student, I had several teachers who made me feel like I was nothing. But later I stopped thinking of the issue as just about me, and realized that a lot of students in the community I grew up in are steeped in a similar disheartening environment. I want to be one of the role models who stays in the area that needs the help rather than moving to better areas and feeling morally accomplished for it.
So with this new drive, I have become a focused student, so that I can become a focused teacher.

Also, I would very much like to try the vegetarian creations of a certain Indian restaurant I saw in Chef Ramsey's Best Kitchen. I am not a vegetarian, but I love the dishes they were able to make without ever touching meat.

Favourite character from tv?
Mm... If I limit my answer to programs still airing new episodes, favorites would include the following.
1. Everyone in Steven Universe. Steven, Pearl, Amethyst, Garnet, and even more minor characters and 'villains' have been endearing for me.
2. Everyone in Regular Show. Not to the level of Steven Universe, but I still think all the characters are well developed. And once again decent female characters.
3. Everyone in The Legend of Korra. Even the 'villains' from the previous season were well developed characters whose motivations, though misguided, were believable, and who genuinely believed they were doing the world a favor. Also, that season ended with me being more affected by what Korra went through than with anyone in the entire running of Avatar: The Last Airbender.
4. In regards to Game of Thrones, I liked Oberyn Martell, Sansa Stark, and of course Tyrion Lannister. Sansa was quite the naive one at the beginning of the series, but I like the cunning and confidence she is building up, and hope to see more of it in the coming season.
