Are you going to share your island in the Dream Suite?

I didn't really do it in NL because I never felt my town was as good as these people who spend 100s of hours making their town perfect lol
so idk if I will in NH or not, I may if I ever get my town looking the way I want it to

i’m planning to, eventually, but it likely won’t be for a long while. my island + houses are nowhere near being finished and while i know people still enjoy sharing towns/islands that are still wips, i personally prefer to wait until everything’s 100% done before showing it off aha

My island is pretty boring. I'm working on changing it right now...but, I don't think anyone would be interested in touring it either way. Lol. As for the dreamsuite itself...I don't honestly know too much about it. It's not a feature that I ever really bothered with in the past. Might be cool to tour some of the really unique islands. But...I tend to play AC to advance my own collections, etc. So...it almost seems like a waste of time to visit islands where I can't obtain items or benefit in any way from being there.

If it's anything like the Dream Suite from New Leaf, you'll upload a dream version of your island for others to visit and will have the option to select if visitors are able to take home the custom designs you have on your island (saw the pattern kiosk in the update video so I imagine this will be possible).

A dream address code would be created and you are able to input others' dream addresses to visit them. You were also able to view dream stats to see how many people had visited.

My island is still not in a dream-like state, but I'm looking forward to having an easier medium to share what I DO have!

I'll mostly be using dream suite to visit others' islands. I won't put up a code until my island is considered neatly themed or almost finished.

I'd like to share my island, but not in its current state. My significant other restarted a while ago and there's still a lot of stuff on the ground. From me as well 'cause there are so many areas that I haven't finished or even planned out yet, I just put some items I was gonna use everywhere without actually setting anything up. It'd be a shame to look at. My island flag says it all... lol

I'm really looking forward to touring other people's islands, though!

I think I am! because I also want to visits a lot of island, I think putting mine out there is fair enough

also, like the post above me is saying, it's easy to show to other people! I like showing my friends around myself,
but sometimes timezones don't work out and I'd rather just share my town through the dream world lol

I'll make a code for my island in case somebody somewhere wants to see it but otherwise I'll be using the Dream Suite to view others islands!

Side note that referring to the Dream Suite as DS made me think of the Nintendo DS and I was confused for a split second. Lol.

Reggie is Nintendo's previous (NA) president. Doug Bowser is the new one. I'm surprised you don't know of him.

I'm honestly not sure yet... I get nervous about sharing my island because of social media platforms like Reddit and YouTube where people just straight up copy your stuff. I feel like most of my island is really original and I don't want to lose that. I wouldn't mind if people just borrow an idea and either credit or don't share online, but most of the time people will straight up not credit you at all and make it look like their idea.
