some of you may have already started, some of you might be starting soon. you might not start at all! but whatever the case may be, are you celebrating the spooky season this year?
I'm honestly not, I'm not feeling it at all. it was the same deal last year. I did go to a Halloween party this past weekend and it was a lot of fun! but the night of Halloween this year will probably just be another night for me. I'm kinda looking forward to the holiday season already.
Yep! We're handing out candy to the small amount of kids that come. Also carving pumpkins which will be fun!! I was gonna dress up but I kinda ran out of time.
Normally we would meet up with friends or something but Halloween is on a Thursday and my partner has school early in the morning so we're just gonna stay home.
I don't really celebrate Halloween like I used to when I was in elementary school - high school where I'd go out and trick or treat then hang out with friends afterwards and trade candies. I miss those days but now I just hand out candy with my mom to trick-or-treaters when we get them. Honestly there are less and less trick-or-treaters this year due to the new rising fad of trunk or treats, I wish we got more trick-or-treaters but I know a lot of families are wary of kids going up to strangers houses and asking for candy nowadays.
I picked other because what I will do is very minimal.
Pretty much just going to eat candy and play Halloween events in a few browser games (I am already doing this right now, minus the candy part). Maybe watch a movie? I'm unsure, I kinda despise the living room right now.
I haven't actually done anything special in ages. When I was told I was too old for trick-or-treating, there was never really anything special done to replace it.
Also, nobody ever came to our house for candy. Probably because we don't have a sidewalk.
I sort of am. I'm not handing out candy or going to any Halloween parties, but I've spent the season reading a horror book and playing Castlevania: Symphony of The Night to get into the mood of the season. Once candy goes on sale after Halloween I'll probably buy some candy corn and eat it.
