Admittedly, I never use the ponds to release fish. ORZ;;
I just release them in the ocean if I do but typically I sell to Timmy and Tommy for bells. <3

I usually just release them in the body of water I’m closest to. That’s usually the right type of water for that fish ask it’s usually what I’ve been fishing in. But I did yeet a sea bass into the river the other day cause I couldn’t be bothered walking to the sea.
