are we sure rice grasshoppers exist in ACNH?

Imagine if the devs did that. Like, in the guide book they mention a rice grasshopper and it's not in the game. Then people online claim they've seen them and it just becomes Luigi in Mario 64 all over again.

But Luigi does exist in Mario 64! In the DS version anyway!

Oak silk moth is still here but name changed to Atlas Moth - pretty sure they're the same creature anyway? Had no idea about the others, thanks for the info!

Only ones I know for sure is no velociraptor and dinosaur eggs. A couple more standalones might be missing too?

The dimetrodon went from being three fossils in NL to two in NH. I spent way too long on these forums trying to find a dimetrodon tail that didn't even exist
