Violent video games can induce violence in other people, but that trigger would have to be there, first. I'm not gonna doubt, though, that video games CAN give people ideas. Also, people who think they are "training" by playing a game and then go out to imitate these actions are going to get a cruel realization...it's not the real thing.

Regardless, no one is making you buy these games. If you become enraged after playing a game, go get help. And there's no way that anyone under 18 can buy M rated games, just like anyone under 13 can't buy T rated games. It is never the game's fault, just ignorant parents and people who need help.
You don't need to be those ages, it's a recommendation. A very conservative recommendation, at that.
Not where I live, they won't let u buy it unless you meet these ages:

E-anybody
T-13 or over
M-18 or over.

Here's the thing I don't think violent games can make you any more violent than you already are. You distinguish what is real and fake if you are normal. The reason people try to ]in fact can sometimes help someone who has social problems[/b].
When it comes to my school you basically have to know what game and play it to get the other guys in your class to be your friend. btw I've played games rated M like Halo 3 Call of Duty and watched my cousin play Left 4 Dead, and even though I have ADHD I'm not violent.
