Hiya,
I remember a few years back watching a Documentry about Violence in children and how Video Games are to blame, I however think this could be wrong, but also correct.
WRONG>
Violence in children can stem from MANY things, including Movies, how they are brought up and theres bound to be more reasons, I myself have played Violent Video games such as GTA, Resident Evil and other 18 titles since i was a young child, i do not go around killing people irl as a result. Also Couldnt we say 'Games such as mario are forcing our children to try and squeeze down pipes and eat mushrooms while jumping around in dungerees with a sterotypical Italian accent trying to get gold coins.' (i know ******** statement).
RIGHT>
I dont think that EVERY child which has played a violent Video game will pick up the closest weapon and kill someone, but if they have a behavoural problem (like Autism) they might, so then it transfers the blame from the video game to the parents/Persons who have bought the game for the child, Since surely they should know NOT to get the child theese games, Hence the 18 sticker and the warning: CONTAINS VIOLENCE/STRONG LANGUAGE Etc.
Your Thoughts?
