Have you been TT'ing? Seems people have experienced villagers switching up their presents when TT'ing.

They're random; I have Puddles too, and mine asked for a doll. I still don't know what color, though...

I also saw a screenshot of someone with Julian asking for a doll, but my Julian wants a beige instrument. XD So, yeah.

How are you guys getting complete hints like that? I've had two guys who've told me exactly what they want and everyone else just gives me a single hint; Egbert's told me he wants "something red" about ten times now but won't get any more specific! Augh.

Just keep talking to them. Eventually they will give you the other half to their hint. I have the complete hints for all ten of my residents, although one will be moving. My son wants him, so I don't know if he will change what he wants when he changes towns or not.

just a little tip... if TT out of december at all (into january or back into november) their wishes will completely change. i found out the hard way (after i had everyone's all written out and whatnot)

Ugh, I've been talking to my guys several times every day. Tried Egbert a couple more times this evening, he told me he wants something red, and oh by the way he'd quite like something red. YES I THINK WE ESTABLISHED THAT ALREADY EGBERT.
