Are there any non-dreamies that ended up being a fav more than your actual dreamie?

Flora was my first peppy in NH during the starter house phase and I initially was going to replace her with Ruby or Bluebear (both peppy favs of mine) but I love Flora so much now and she’s my top peppy!

Sally and Deirdre! Before this game I never spent time looking for villagers I wanted, but ever since I came across these two I can't imagine my game without them

I have met villagers that have become my dreamies, though I can’t say they’ve become more for a favorite than my other dreamies. Rudy might be closest one though. He was one of those villagers I never had any interest in wanting & didn’t look at enough to have an opinion. I restarted NH a couple times trying to get better starter villagers and the one that I settled with had Rudy and Fuchsia. I wasn’t thrilled with Rudy since he was a jock, but the minute I talked to him and heard his jock voice, he started growing on me (i think the jock voice, or at least when paired with Rudy’s face and the meow sound is soooo cute) and now, I find him to be one of the cutest cat villagers with some of the best expressions.

Lily was my first successful mystery tour villagers that I found and was one of my first four. I initially got her planning on letting her go eventually; I did just let her go (didn’t like the starter house and messed it up anyways with a flea and one piece of furniture) but if I had more room, I’d definitely invite her again because she also grew on me.

Ones that have grown on me since finding them and inviting them to my town, but aren’t favorites at least yet: Dom. I initially didn’t like him because his eyes looked a bit weird to me, but now that he’s in my town and I’ve had a chance to talk to him and watch him do things, I find his eyes to be exactly what makes him so endearing.

Tex was a villager that I never wanted, but got him from a friend’s void and once i figured that out and gave him a chance, while I can’t say he’s a favorite, I will say I got pretty attached to him. I loved that he actually wore the hat and both outfits that i gave him and never put any of them on display.

Pierce, Tiffany and Avery are kinda like that.

Pierce already had an advantage cause used to be my buddy in Wild World. He was my starter on my island. I didn't think I would keep him but he's grown on me so much that at this point I can't imagine myself letting him go.

Tiffany I moved in with amiibo for sake of aesthetic, but I ended up really liking her. I also didn't intend on keeping her, I was using her as a place holder but she's staying now.

Avery came from the random island tours. I got an open plot and didn't want to use an amiibo to move in a dreamy yet. I went island hopping to see if I could maybe find a good villager. Well I hate island hopping and I had only a few tickets. I came across Avery and decided he was 'cool enough' so I asked him to move in. Over time he grew on me, and I'm even gonna make him a little fishing spot in his new house area.

hmm possibly tangy and fang for me c: I will occasionally rotate which villager is my favorite, but I wouldn't say I love them more than some of my other villagers because I love them all equally tbh :')

For the moment, I can't say I have dream villagers (villagers I'd like to live on my island indefinitely) besides Goldie, Bones, and Rudy. I have Goldie's Amiibo, so I can invite her back any time -- I do love a lot of character designs in the normal personality group, hence why I let her leave.

Bones was one of my first five, so if he ever asks to leave, I would let him move out. If I ever run into him at the campsite/on a Nook Mile island, then I would consider it fate and invite him back so he can have his neat library house.

Agnes was a campsite villager and she's grown on my so much that I would hesitate letting her move out. There are other sisterly villagers that I'd like to experience though.

I invited Judy from a Nook Mile island because my S/O thought I would grow to like her, even though her eyes kind of freaked me out initially. XD She's a lot cuter in-person and I love how expressive her face is! Her pastel colour palette is also really pleasant to look at. Since she does not yet available via Amiibo, I don't plan on letting her move out for the time being.

Molly and Flora weren’t originally in my list of who I wanted on my Island. Found them randomly on mystery islands and they’re now my favorites.

Cyd! In the beginning I didn't really knew much about him. Mint was my number 1 dreamie for the longest time even in older games. I decided one day to get cyd, and he took my number 1 slot. I can't imagine my island without him on it. He is such a big softie

I attribute Deirdre, Diana and Erik to be a major factor in my idea to make a full deer island. Diana was initially a filler camper on Arctin to fill a snooty spot she’s now my favorite snooty. Deirdre was my starting sisterly on Evwirt. She was way cooler than Flo (my starting sisterly on Arctin) and fit my theming. The only reason I’ve temporarily let her go is so I can get her in her true house! Erik was my obligatory lazy, but his overall design just won me over! I’ve just up and decided to go full-deer and base part of my lore around it because of this bunch! it definitely DOESNT have to do with a forest curse that’s on the island so eating the food here is safe

Dom. First I thought he was a girl and then i realized he was a jock all i wanted was for him to be gone. but then those cute little eyes got me one day and he's been one of my favorites ever sense.

Sparro! I had actually scanned his amiibo card just for jock diys, but the more I invited him the more cool I thought he was. Eventually after I got all the amiibo diys, I scanned him one last time and made him permanent.

I got Antonio as a random islander, and was OK with him staying for a while since he kind of fits my theme. However he is now one of my favourite of all time. I love his striped arms, they look so cool with a bunch of different outfits. His catchphrase, 'honk,' is very funny, and he acts generally friendly on my island~

Antonio is legit, one of my favorites. He was one of my originals and I love when he does his "pumps" as I call them lol.

I've grown rather attached to Gaston, whom I got as a random villager move-in, and am seriously thinking about letting him stay as a permanent resident. Honestly I like his overall design. His cute, over-sized mustache along with his little quirks, expressions, & mannerisms are just too cute and endearing and I really empathize with his back pain issues lol! <3

This is Filbert for me. Kyle's a dreamie of mine since I have a personal connection with him, but ever since I moved Filbert in I'm not too sure. I adore Filbert's personality and I think his looks match it perfectly. Filbert came to my birthday, while Kyle did not. I definetly am starting to like Filbert a little more...(but Kyle always has a place in my heart)

zucker and kid cat! kid cat was my starter jock when my jock dreamie was bam; i still love bam dearly but i grew very attached to kid cat during the game’s first week and so he is now a permanent resident! i didn’t really give him much thought before new horizons and honestly probably wouldn’t of if he hadn’t been a starter villager and so i’m glad i got to know him c’:

zucker, on the other hand, was the biggest shock. my dream lazy was beau (since i mean,, it’s beau LMAO) but i ran into zucker whilst island hopping and since he’s pretty popular, and i was broke since it was still the first few weeks of gameplay, i invited him for profit purposes but,,, i once again became very attached to him which i was not expecting since i literally didn’t care about him at all before. but he’s wonderful and so i decided that he would be my lazy instead of beau c’:

I guess I never really liked Tammi (or had heard of her) until I saw a pic of her and fell in love lol. Tammi's a great villager and I found her on a mystery island it was gr8
