Is discussing NFC chips or amiibo cloning considered taboo on the forum?

I believe it would fall under the Prohibited Content section of the The Bell Tree Rules and Guidelines. Specifically:

Information on how to access items that violate copyright laws.

I don't know about mentioning them in general, but advocating for their use or pointing someone towards the direction of their acquisition are discouraged. Probably best avoided.

Isn't it not against copyright though? I thought it was one of those things where, you can do it but can't sell it
