Are mystery flower islands still a thing of the past?

Yup. I’m sorry for all those who missed it. I’m just glad I was able to piggyback on my brother’s island orange roses; I’d probably be still working on getting a blue rose otherwise! Now they grow like weeds on my island.

I only had the pleasure of going to one once. It was filled with pink and purple mums. (Also I think it was the one that doubled with big fish?? But I didn't know cause I was more focused on the hybrids LOL)

I hope they do bring it back though, although my island is overrun with flowers.

I got lucky and found two hybrid islands before they were removed. It’s kind of silly that they removed them. More island variety is never a bad thing.

I think they got removed in the wedding event update. Which ever one was the one before 1.3.0

This was one of those really pointless removals in game (the other was the tarantula/scorpion spaw). It's a little baffling to me when there are fixes people have been asking for since release.

Is there a reason as to why they took the hybrid islands out?

I don't know of any official reason, but if I had to GUESS it was because of the varying usefullness of the island based on your native flower. Tulips and windflowers or even cosmos aren't nearly as useful as being able to crossbreed two orange roses to get a blue.

Unfortunately they are... I really hope a similar kind of mystery islands will be available again in the future, maybe with a new update. Who knows... we can only hope hahah.

I don't think they're available anymore. But it would be nice! Especially to those just starting out or people having trouble growing specific hybrids.

Yeah they got rid of them! It totally sucks, I'm thankful I was able to experience them a few times when island hopping.
