Are all these dreamy flowers real or duped?

I've noticed in a bunch of dream towns, there are fields and fields of rare hybrids. I'm not talking about the easy ones like orange or pink tulips. I mean the hundreds of blue or golden roses that sometimes completely cover a town.

I haven't tried hybrid breeding extensively and I'm curious. If I find a dream town with 200 blue roses is that an obvious sign of duping, or are a bunch of players just gardening maniacs?

I've made well over 100 easy hybrids myself, but never a single blue rose. :/

When you place two hybrids next to each other, they breed. Currently I am breeding a field of blue hybrids, so yes. ^_^ It is possible. If you really cannot breed some, I'd be happy to give you two blue.

I bred my own blue roses from scratch, took a few months.

I've also got a fairly large field of black and orange tulips, all home grown. No TTing involved, just watering and getting my four flower spawns each day, two to three of which will usually be the hybrids I want. My villagers are currently calling me flower fan, lol

I think quite a few people do either TT to speed things up or buy flowers in bulk from TTers, but I've managed without that.

It's really not that hard to breed black roses and let them wilt to create gold roses. Likewise, once you've got two blue roses, it's not hard to breed them together to get more. It's possible that they duped them, but it's also possible that they TTed to speed up the breeding process.

The blue roses were the only ones I never managed to breed on my own. A friend gave me two to get started and I now have nearly 200 in my "blue" town (only blue flowers) of Harmonie. I never used fertilizer - only water. It can be done without duping, just takes time and patience.

It's really not that hard lol, when I first started breeding blue roses they bred like crazy... I think I sold/gave most of them away in the end, because I'm not that fond of blue roses. And same goes for gold roses, if you don't have beautiful town ordinance, it's not that hard to breed black flowers and turn them into gold roses imo.

If you visit my DA, you will find lots of hybrids. I bought them off of here, so I know they aren't duped. Likely it was a lot of TTing that spawned them, not duping.

ia, i think it's more TTing than duping since people are more likely to dupe rare items over flowers that can easily be attained via TTing.

Once you have two blue roses, they'll multiply like rabbits. Like Rainy said, it would take some time and patience, but it's definitely possible.

There are dupers on these forums, I was once sold a duped set. I was clearly told it was duped after I handed over my bells.

I have brought some hybrids for my town (and for other people) on here, but I've also grown lots of my towns hybrids including blue roses once I had a starting pair. I use the PWP flower beds, no fertiliser and the golden watering can. I find my flowers breed very quickly.

TTing for sure. I personally haven't tried hybrid breeding to a HUGE extent but I have been breeding a little bit of pink roses and they spawn like crazy over a few days.

Some people are really dedicated to breeding (just as some people are very dedicated to cycling through villagers) so they can well be real. It's not that hard to breed hybrids once you have at least two identical ones, so if you play the game enough you can lots of them. I've also seen lots of people selling hundreds of hybrids, so they may have bought them from someone too.

Blue roses breed really fast in my town, faster than any other hybrid I have - and I don't even use fertilizer. It's not that hard to get a lot of flowers with beautiful town ordinance and a lot of TT-ing. So I don't think a lot of hybrids = duping.

personally blue roses are the easiest for me to breed,

Blue roses are easy to breed once you get your first two blue roses. I traded my first 2 purple pansies for 2 blue roses with my friend. In a month's time, my beach was filled with blue roses. I got an average of 2-3 blue roses per day.
Gold roses are harder to come by. My friend spent 10 million for 100 gold roses. Her lovely town is filled with gold roses and I think it's worth it for 10 million. ^^ 10 million = 2 turnips trades.

It's not duping. It's easy to breed flowers, especially with fertilizer. People can also buy flowers from other players. Gold roses are definitely harder to get but it's not impossible.

I also would not go around accusing of anyone of duping, especially if they aren't and just very dedicated to growing their hybrids. Plus, it is against the rules to dupe and sell anything duped on TBT.
