Nintendo and Apple sell completely different things and there isn't any competition between the two companies. Unless you of course consider the iTouch/iPad a "gaming" device, which is pretty ridiculous.

..... there is a lot of grudge on these forums lately, and it is unpleasant to wade through....

Anyway on topic though, I think he says the war with sony is over, because lets face, they made a great machine, but they overpriced it, and didn't do nearly as good as Nintendo did fiscally... Nintendo struck gold the moment they opened the doors to a flood of casualness that most companies ignored. Is this a bad thing, well it can, but really I play a lot of games that are considered casual... and they can be fun, like the sims. Heck the entire term casual has just been construed as a negative, but fact is most people don't have the time to be "hardcore" gamers.
