Anyone here who doesn't use social media? (Or not often)

It seems I posted on this thread years ago and forgot about it, but my usage of social media has changed, so I'll post again.

Not counting Discord (which I view as more a messaging app than a social media), I only use social media to post occasional random thoughts or give updates to real life family members. I don't look at social media feeds anymore because they're addictive for me and ruin my mood.

Considering how every social media website is overflowing with bots nowadays I don't think I'm missing out on much.

I have several accounts but never post anything, I'm just reading what other people have to say. People I know mostly, not really interested in bots or in people who didn't touch grass for a while. I don't use them often, it gives too much anxiety.

I've had a few over the years and mostly to keep in touch with friends that refused to be anywhere else. Seeing this thread again made me want to log into my Twitter account just to check to see if any of my friends were still on there and what kind of game posts I shared. I'm not sure if any of my friends are still on there, but the homepage (what I want to see) was full of nothing I would really want to see. Thanks Elon! It was all verified trash and wild racist takes. So I deleted it and there wasn't any second guessing it.
