Anyone here still play the game "naturally"?

I promised I was gonna make my second town more natural, but then I went back to old habits and did the camper/plot resetting/PWP tricks. I will, however, be more lenient about letting villagers move out especially if I already have their picture, cuz I want to experience a wide variety of villagers and give more of them a chance.

i don't tt or plot reset, but I do try to find my dreamies and i do sell popular villagers for igb. :)

Oh and I do lay paths and try to landscape

I tried to in my third town, but I've found that playing through naturally just irritates me, so I've taken some shortcuts here and there. However, I still play it more naturally than the rest of my towns.

I am trying, I do plot reset as I am trying not to get villagers I already have in my main and secondary town for my new year town..but otherwise am trying I will go ahead a day if I e done all I can do and am behind real time as I don't like to skip a day. I did transfer some starter money from an older town but ai let that be my only real "cheat" if you can call it that.

nah i time travel constantly. i'm one of those instant gratification kinda guys.

When you say naturally, do you mean when someone asks you to move you just let them go..or is that a gray area..I am curious as natural seems to be the new thing going back to how it was before dreams and trading and so on.?

I mean just kind of letting whatever happen to your town; not really setting it up with a plan/theme in mind, just letting things take their own course. Moving villagers in/out freely is part of that

I'd still consider trading to be natural imo

I do now, for me the fun part of the game is getting projects and finding my dream villagers. I time traveled a lot to get 2 villagers out and again to unlock the TIY. Now I have some villagers I don't want to lose I play properly again.
Except when I'm short on money and then I'll tt to the evening so I can earn some bells.

I think 'naturally' would be a relative term for me. I time travel every day and always have so that is natural for me. I don't lay paths. I have no patience for it. I do seek out out certain villagers who I love, but not to the point of absurdity, lol. I often invite campers to move in which I love! Had it not been for my campsite, I never would have met Zucker or Dizzy or Katt or any of the other wonderful characters I have grown to love. But it's all about finding a balance that works for me and me alone. That customization is what I love so much about AC. Everyone can play the game any way they see fit and which works for them.

Natural is how the game was made, basically. Time traveling is by setting the time, not by using the function 'time travel' and therefore it's unnatural. Since plot resetting uses the glitch of not saving when you create a new character, it's unnatural. When a villager asks to move though, it 'officially' gives the option to react to them, so it's totally natural to let them stay/move. Quitting the game when they decide otherwise though, is unnatural again. Natural is basically how the game is supposed to be played, not using any glitches/options in another way than they are meant to be.

I'm doing this now! I mean, I do ask campers to move in sometimes (not sure if that counts) because I don't always adore certain villagers and I love change. But I'm not TTing or trying to "force" anything unnaturally. I am using paths though. Would you consider that unnatural?

My actual town, turning 3 this July, had never been cheated with :)
My new town, however, I probably will do a bit of time traveling to get further in the game faster. But I'm not sure about that yet :)

My clock is 6 hours earlier, I timetravel to get villagers out, I plotreset to make everything look neat.
I really don't see a point in punishing myself by not doing it. Cheating destroys a game but those kinds of advantages is really just convienent.

Some people prefer not to play that way though. There is no desire, thus not doing it isn't a punishment. I personally don't like time-traveling nor plot reset, and yes I am sometimes annoyed by house placement and wish a villager moved out quicklier, but I don't want to time travel or plot reset to make those things happen. It takes away the fun for me, because I like my game living in the same present as real-life, so if something happens that I don't like, I just deal with it and wait until it can be solved.

I still play naturally. I have no interest or time to not. Xp

I will "time travel" by changing back the clock to play days I was unable to play until I catch up to the current day. But that's the extent of what I do. I don't reset for villagers or villager plots. Sometimes I get villagers destroying flowers or paths or blocking bridges, but that's OK. I'm too lazy to reset repeatedly just for aesthetics, and it's an interesting challenge to make the town look good again.
