Maybe he just doesnt want to accept that the Soviet Union was a unstable government and that Russia is no longer one of their states, but it's own indepentant country. They were lucky someone with a lick of sense became their leader and broke up the USSR. Now all thoses countries can try to become a better place to live, which is why he moved BACK there, cuz he LEFT it in the first place.

Hmm, it would just be easier to say he wants to start a fight.
