Anyone having a hard time with villager house resetting?

Not currently but I have had struggles with placement in the past.
It can be quite annoying and I would normally just give up and go for the best of the worst.
I think now I won't do that but I know the struggle.

I feel your pain. The struggle is real.
It comes down to luck sometimes. I had pwps and extra characters in places that I thought were plot-able to stop new villagers from plotting and trying to narrow down the "possible" spots. But sometimes, they plot in places that you least expect them and would never had thought it was a plot-able place. I had to reset many times too, but I would say just to pursue on if you want them in a particular spot. It might seem like a lot of work now but if you give and place them in a spot you're not 100% happy with, you're gonna regret for a long time.

I don't want to jinx it, but lately, it's been a decent amount of time for plot resetting. I plot reseted for Marina today, and it took her a couple of times to get where I wanted her to go. But a few times back, it took forever just to get them in a decent area. If it takes more more than like an hour or two, I would just settle in an "okay" spot (as long as they're not in the middle of my paths).
you're lucky lol i got marina from a friend and i am trying to plot reset her next to my house, i've been doing this for 4 hours now. might just give up tonight and try again tomorrow.

i haven't had a villager move in for a few weeks now so i'm so glad to take a plot re-setting break. i usually put a couple extra characters in town in spots i don't want them to plot, but even then they somehow magically manage to find some of the worst places to put their house.

It doesn't really happen to me because I usually work on getting my villagers all placed before working on how the town looks so as long as they're not in a horrible place I'm fine with it.

yea i have such a hard time, and then i find myself regretting resetting an ALMOST perfect spot that i cant get again. itd be so easy if they could let you choose where they plot.
