Anyone good with photo-editing software?

OKAY so I've been using gimp to try and make myself a signature
I made a gif in flipnote studio and i've been trying to add the sprites to it but every time i do the sprites are miscolored? for example, i added a sprite of muffy and her fur went from purple to green instead. its really frustrating so can someone give me any tips on how to fix this? it would be much appreciated!

I'm not familiar with your programs, but I use programs such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Check to see if you're changing the color mode of the images RGB to CMYK for example. If it is in CMYK, change it to RGB when you save the image. If this doesn't change anything, use the place to manipulate the color channels see if you can fix it there by playing with the color balances.
