Anyone else unreasonably excited about Jingle?

I don't know why exactly, because he's only there one day a year in each game, but Jingle is one of the characters that really represents Animal Crossing in my mind. I have really fond memories of trying to find him 100 times in the Gamecube version, changing shirts between each encounter. I can't wait to see him in this game. This will sound really lame, but he feels magical to me, in a way that I associate with Animal Crossing. Seeing him is almost like being a kid seeing Santa to me xD

I just bought his amiibo, because I love his poster, and I can't wait to take pictures of him when he comes.

Does anyone else have irrational love for this character or am I just a crazy Jingle guy?

Yesss!! Not alone! Of the holiday NPCs, he's the one I can't do without. I don't know if it's his starry eyes or what, but I find him extremely charming.

I'm just ready for winter overall! Best time of the year in AC imo!

I'm excited for the harvest stuff too! I'm only so-so on Franklin, and Thanksgiving irl, so it doesn't come close to my Jingle excitement, but it's always nice when something is going on!

Honestly, I never really lasted a whole year playing Animal Crossing. And most of the time, I missed out on a lot of holidays. I'm not as avid a fan as I was before compared to now. And this game is the first one I played every single day. So I'm really looking forward to it.

Honestly, I never really lasted a whole year playing Animal Crossing. And most of the time, I missed out on a lot of holidays. I'm not as avid a fan as I was before compared to now. And this game is the first one I played every single day. So I'm really looking forward to it.

I'm actually the same. Gamecube I played everything. City Folk and New Leaf I can barely remember the holidays, and never participated in the NL Harvest festival. This game has me hooked though, and I'll for sure be there

Understandable, haha! But for me, personally, it's always near October that heralds the holidays. Starting with Halloween, of course. And yes, definitely mine too!

Back when I played Wild World and City Folk I was more interested in finding things for the museum and growing hybrids, so I would time travel a lot and didn't always participate in the seasonal events. Add the fact that I don't celebrate Christmas and I guess I'm just reasonably excited for the event since Jingle looks adorable (and suits my deer island very well!) and I love any celebration. I'm personally more excited for Halloween and the harvest fest

For sure! I really hope they give us the option to customize the colors like we can with the Spooky set. Was so disappointed about the lack of option with the Bunny Day set.
I’m definitely expecting some Christmas light garlands, would be awesome to have the option of pastel and monotone colored lights.

Every new AC game I tend to play toy day briefly on day 1 and chill with Jingle, then restart the game and start my own town afterwards, and this time they took this tradition from me.

I'm looking forward to every seasonal event in this game! I often forget about Jingle because I rarely played winter in New Leaf. I didn't like the season as much and my two themed towns were perpetually stuck in summer and autumn, so I think I've only played Toy Day once or twice. I'm excited to finally play through a winter properly and see what new things they bring to the holiday in New Horizons :'D
