Anyone else suck at getting villager pictures?

I've only been able to get their pictures on April fools day. I swear when I try to get a villagers picture they never give it to me. I do the megaphone trick, write them letters, give them perfect fruit and rare bugs and everything. Heck most of them wave to me when I do the megaphone trick. But I've never received any of their pictures. Has anyone else never been able to get villager pictures except for April fools day?

I'm only able to get them in person from my really close friends Fauna and Felicity. I have gotten several in farewell letters though.

I get Villager's pictures all the time. I rarely turn down a request, so maybe that's why.

I just use the item reset trick thingy...sorry not sure what to call it to get their pics.

I've gotten all of mine through letters when they moved away. I guess I'm bad at it cause I haven't even gotten any from the villagers I've had since I started my town.

I get Francine's and Rod's too often, but Chrissy and Ankha just won't give me theirs.

I sometimes get pictures but usually when I feel like my friendship is high enough with them, I'll let them leave and they give me their picture in a letter.

The only picture I ever got was Caroline's when she sent me her moving letter. I thought I would've gotten at least one other picture by now, but I think I turn down too many of those aggravating fish/bug requests for my villagers to like me enough... *cough*

I'm not sure why either because I only sometimes turn down their requests.
I did manage to get a pic from Sparro recently and Flora a while ago.

I got all my then-current villagers' pictures on April Fool's. I had one or two before, and have gotten a few since...but they've all been double, or triples. Can't seem to get the ones I need. >.<

Yeah, I suck terribly at trying to get villagers pictures. I can only ever get them on April Fool's Day. I did however get one picture in the mail when Peanut left me, but she was one of my starters and she recently left me. I had her for over a year. So, yeah. I suck pretty badly. Lol.

In my old town I was only given 2 pics, and the rest were from villagers moving. In my new town I've only gotten pics from April fools or buying them. I frequently go above and beyond for gifting them. ~ perfect foreign fruit/rare bugs and fish for simple requests but they are all seemingly too vain to share pics of themselves.

I spend alot of time doing chores for my villagers but like you I have no luck in getting pictures! I don't even have one! I write to them once a week and try to give them everything they ask for, but I do tt quite a bit due to work/play hours not being how I would like them, maybe that has something to do with it?
