Anyone else miss the short animals?

So I decided to play my old ACWW game for nostalgia, and restarted my old town since it was full of weeds. One of my starters was Moe and ohmigosh I can't put into words how overwhelmed by cuteness I was! His big sad eyes and his tiny body was too much for me to handle. But then I looked at him in his ACNL form and... Blech. Not nearly as cute as his short figure in WW :'(

Anyone else feel the same way sometimes? I like the tall humans way better but sometimes it's kinda sad to see all the tiny animal figures I once saw everyday be the same height as me :'(

I like how each animal has their own size. Seriously a Squirrel the same size as an Elephant! That's just weird.

I agree! ACWW is very nostalgic to me as well. The tiny models were pretty cute at the time. Looking back at them, I now realize how bad the graphics were though haha they really stepped it up with New Leaf.

I'd never ask for model downgrades. God no.
I personally think they look far better taller, you can see their clothes better and everything is smoother and cleaner, imo.

Yeah, I hate the terrible graphics in WW D: I can never fully enjoy playing it anymore because of how I've gotten used to the neat, clean graphics of New Leaf. That might also be why Moe was cute to me in WW, because the graphics blurred out dat nose

Better graphics in this game by far with so much detail but mini villagers sure are cute. I like how they can be taller or shorter depending on what animal they are

Oh, I know what you mean -- I just mean I prefer them to be more anthro-like instead of like super chibis. I guess. Like the more towards anthro we get the happier I am ahaha.
