Anyone else have three villagers of the same type?

I have 3 smugs(Keaton was my forced camper, Marshal and Julian I got from Nook Island hopping). My plan was to let go of Keaton when he wanted to move naturally, but he kindly became one of my favs and I don’t want him to ever leave. Lol.
I don’t have a cranky, and they are one of my favorite personalities so I’m just waiting for someone( not Keaton) on my island to want to move.

i... have four smugs lol. they haven't been SUPER repetitive, but i'm pretty sure at least three of them have told me that they could see themselves performing some music (different genre for each) wearing whatever shirt i have on. it's pretty tolerable since i really like them, but recently i've been thinking about dropping colton... the normals feel irresistible!! i'm giving him the benefit of the doubt for now, but idk he might be replaced by lolly in the near future haha

3 is too much because of the repetitive dialogue, it’s better having 2 of each personality.

I’m about to have Lolly replace Sprinkle using her amiibo so I’ll then have three normals (her, Dora, and Molly). In New Leaf I tried to always have no more than two of a personality but I thought I’d break that rule at least temporarily. There are just sooo many cute normals. Oh well, when it comes down to it as long as I have at least one of each personality that’s what’s truly important to me.

I came very close to having three crankies. I already have Apollo and Fang on my island, and then ran into Octavian while island hopping. I considered taking Octavian and then selling him in boxes, but decided against it.

I have 3 normals right now, and I used to have 4 normals before Midge moved out lol
They're cute, but it does get boring unfortunately, especially with the normal personality

I have three normals right now. Used to have four, but had to let one leave so that I can have all personality types. The thing with normals for me is that their dialogues are kinda boring, but they’re really cute.

I love them all im only willing to part with margie and marina because i need a jock and a smug but the problem is i literally only like two of the smugs and yeah its gets kinda boring

Smug is my favorite personality EVER and they're never leaving ^^

1 of each personality and Julian and Colton which are smugs, but I see them as a couple so they don't count, but being objective, the dialogue gets kind of repetitive sometimes. If we ever get the option to have more villagers, I go with another smug, Marshal.

I had 3 peppy residents at one point. That was a bit much...

Almost went there to get more of my favorite-looking villagers, but decided to stick with 2 max on a personality type. Glad I did.

I do! I had an all dog town & an all pig town in New Leaf, and in New Horizons I have an all Bear Cub island!

No but I got 2 Normals and 2 Lazies. Otherwise my town is pretty well rounded and I like each one.

I have 3 crankies too! It's tolerable haha since they're all so cute! Even though they have the same dialogue, at least they have different interests which make them unique to each other. If they didn't have that, it would be tough with the same type unless you really liked their aesthetics since they would all be the same

I've never had more than two of the same personality type cause it does get so boring reading the same dialogue over and over

I think I have a couple of snooty villagers at the moment. Right now, I'm reworking my dream villagers list and so far I got a cluster of smug, snooty, & sisterly villagers. I'm trying to give my island some diversity since same-type villagers just recycle dialogues.

in new leaf i had 6 normal villagers bc they're my favorite. i actually don't think that's a bad thing. now i have 5 normal villagers and i still don't regret anything lol

I have four normals (Fauna, Marina, Chevre, and Merengue). Not intentional, they just kept popping up on mystery islands, and so many of them have designs that are too cute to pass up! But I plan on letting Merengue move out, she's my least favorite of the four I have.

And it gets boring but margie is moving out and replacing her with ellie even tho ellie is a normal i plan to move marina and merengue but i love merengue so much im torn honestly

Thats how many i have but margie is moving but the crazy thing is another normal is moving in i plan to move out one of my peppys and one of my normals so i can make room for a jock and a smug
