Anyone else have three villagers of the same type?

I have three snooty and three smug. I love their designs and have five different personality types on my island, so it's not too overbearing. I think as long as you have some other personalities you should be just fine!

I had 4 Normal (Maple, Sylvana, Merengue, Lolly) and 3 Smug (Marshal, Raymond, Zell)

I recently let Lolly go for Fang, and Merengue go for Bluebear - and honestly, it's made a world of difference getting rid of them.

I'm tempted to get one of one of my Smugs for a Lazy, with Zell being my least favorite of the 3, but I love his design so much.

idk we'll see. But repetitive dialogue kills me, especially when playing it as often as I do during this quarantine.

Erik, Sherb, and Zucker are quite the trio of lazies, but my god most of the villagers I love are lazy so what can you do?

I have two peppy villagers but only have enough will to interact with one a day, so the other one gets neglected. I am gonna move one of them out. I dont mind having 2 or more of the same persoanlity, but it must be one that i enjoy very much and as much as i like peppies i think one is good. I recall having 3 smugs in NL at one point but i cant remember if i liked that or not.

I have three snooties and so long as the rumor that other villager types will eventually teach you the reactions from missing villager types pans out, I won’t change it. They are very much on my vibe. Jocks and Lazies are not and aren’t missed. I don’t mind a little repeat dialogue telling me my fashion sense is on point!

I had three peppies but Kid Cat ruined my streak lol. Peppies are easily my favorite & most of them are so cute it's hard to say no to them.

I currently have 2 lazies; Zucker and Sherb. And 3 smugs; Julian, Zell and Raymond Ugh.. I love them all, so I’m seriously stressing out on who to get rid of for my smug villagers... Zell has really grown on me, and Raymond, who I’m still getting to know (he was also hard to get *cries*). And Julian, who is my all time favorite smug villager, but I also had him in the last game so idk This is so harrddd! Also, I currently have 2 normals, but I only have plans to keep 1 of them, so it’s no big deal right now. Ugh, but kinda wish there was some sort of DLC or something so we could have up to 11 or 12 villagers I’m so indecisive..

I've got three snooty villagers, but I won't for too long. I'll be moving them out and replacing them with different villagers. I only plan on having one snooty on my island for now even though I really like snooty villagers!

I had 3 snooties recently. It's kind of annoying to have that many of the same personality, so I was glad that 1 wanted to move recently.

I've found I don't like having more than 2 of a personality type. Even if there's multiples of that personality that is cute and you'd love to have, too many of the same personality means you hear too many of the same lines over and over again.

I have three smug villagers. Two are my faves and the other one was a forced camper. I would probably let Ken go (I like him but too much smug can be repetitive) once I got some amiibo cards but I am hoping one of the starter villagers will have a thought bubble so that I could do some island hopping. I don't have a particular personality preference when it comes to personality and I tend to go after who I like visually.

I had 3 normals and no jock or peppy on my ACNL town and it was fine at first but after a while I started to regret not having more variety a little bit. The dialogue got really repetitive with them and I've already noticed a lot of repeated dialogue on this game as well with my lazy villagers even though I only have two of them.

I have 3 peppies (Bubbles, Bianca, Sprinkle). I love the peppy villagers, but I'm probably gonna kick bubbles and sprinkle out at some point in favor of Chrissy.

I actually have four normals right now: Coco, Marina, Lily, and Lolly. They're the best! I do get a bit bothered when I hear them repeat what another ones says though.

It's all down to what you personally prefer. Some people strictly go for looks and don't care about the repeated dialogue. Me? I try to vary my villagers as much as possible. I could easily have an island with 10 normals because I think they are adorable in appearance, but I'd never actually choose that. I need different dialogue from my villagers as much as I can get it.

I used to have 3 normals - Skye, Mitzi, and Fauna. I loved all of them, but I was getting pretty tired of all the repeated dialogue (talked to Skye the most), so I had to let Mitzi move when she asked :'D

I currently have four jocks(Sly, Antonio, Mott, Cobb) and while I really don’t like the repeated dialogue, it does give me motivation to work out on my off days. So for me it has its ups and downs.

If given the chance I would like for one to ask to move out(not sly) so I can get a little bit more variety.

I got into a pattern from NL where I made sure I had one of each type and then could do whatever I wanted with the extra slots, and I find myself keeping to that pattern even though they aren't required to unlock things like they were in NL just because I learned to appreciate the variety of interaction... BUT in the wayback I used to collect crankies and snooties and lazies like there was no tomorrow and as I rarely let any of those villagers leave would wind up with towns that were full with just those personalities and little to nothing else and loved it. I feel like the sub types would have to be more varied to want to go back to that these days

I have 3 Normals and 2 lazys right now. I'm thinking about switching one of my normals for a sisterly. Kinda sucks b/c it's Marina and I grown to love her! I really regret not keeping my initial jock and sisterly starters because one of the reasons why I'm moving some of my villagers out is because I'm missing reactions. I have like 8 more left and I haven't gotten pinged for 1 in weeks. Missing diys I can handle as I can always trade for them and get them via bottles but the missing reactions annoy me so much. It's also some of the ones I really want like the surprise, dance, and bow reactions.
