Anyone else have bad move-in luck?

Only happened to me once and I got spike.... not a bad villager, but i agree it's annoying.

My recommendation is to just online trade for a dreamie. Use Nookazon or discord for this. If you need bells to buy one btw I can donate I have ab 4mil sitting in the atm :/

I had this in the beginning of the game, and got Nana, Pompom, Harry and Derwin! Not bad, but I do not really mind random move-ins anyway... it reminds me of the older games where you could not choose your villagers at all (say, WW). A couple of weeks ago I got Cherry via random move-in as well as Tipper. Though I guess others would deem my luck bad. Always down to personal taste.

i'm usually pretty good at filling the space myself either through island hopping or scouring nookazon/tbt but the one time I left it up to chance I got big top :c not the worst but not my personal fave. I trade online quite a bit so I guess there's a pretty high risk of getting voided villagers

Yes always. I don't get why the plot always auto fills after only 1 day. I do wonder if this only happens if you go to other islands/people come to yours. I say this because of my first move out. I hadn't been to any other islands nor had any villagers. Skye asked to move twice and the second time I let her go. She was one of the villagers who moved in the 3 plots we had to put down and build stuff for. Her plot was empty for almost a week! It filled only when I moved Raymond in from my campsite. If I had another game and switch I would test this theory. The first time the plot auto filled I had no idea it would happen that fast or that I'd get a voided villager. I got Boone. 2nd was Filbert and my 3rd and most recent is Chief. Filbert replaced Boone and I actually like him. I want Chief gone next. We need more than 1 day before the plot fills. my problem is I get bored and annoyed with island hopping fast. I get more aggravated with every crappy villager/wasted nmt and I give up. it's not fun for me. Even my campsite is no help. I need a sisterly and even though it's supposed to give you the personality you need it doesn't(my last camper was Roscoe). I do check the new neighbor page here(that's how I got Soleil when I needed a snooty) but it's not always helpful.

I only tried out leaving the plot open once and it got filled the next day (even though I didn't visit anyone or have any visitors) by Harry... never again, I always assume I only have one day lol.
