Anyone else gonna do One Year Challenge 2019 on New Leaf all year despite AC Switch?

Personally, no. I've wasted so much time on New Leaf. It's been way too long since we've had a new game, so I really hope there is no data transfer. 1 year ago, I didn't want New Leaf to go away, but now I'm finally starting to feel like it's definitely time to move on. I've felt like this since E3 and I want to move on with a fresh start. If there is a data transfer, I would feel way too much pressure to use it even though I desperately need a fresh start to enjoy the game.

I doubt it. I always want to do such a one year challenge, however, I never really
got the motivation for it, especially since I had everytime doubts on myself that I
would fail this challenge way too fast. Now of course I could try to do a challenge
for 2019, then again, I already now that I gonna neglect my New Leaf town (and
New Leaf in general) once the new game is out.

So no, I'm not gonna do this challenge. (Also, even if you could transfer your NL
town to the Switch one, I wouldn't do it, since I already planned to make a new
town in the Switch game)

Nope. Not me. I've just finished decorating all my characters houses. :T Plus... I really like the current town that I have and to reset it would be a huge waste for me since I've invested a lot of time on it. Also... I don't even have the Switch, so I'm not really concern about Animal Crossing Switch.

Nope. I love acnl, but after a few months, I lose interest for about 3 months until I start playing again, so it's a big N-O for me :)

Since I am unsure of when I will be able to buy a Switch, I definitely plan on playing New Leaf in 2019 (still got a lot of stuff I can do [upgrade my badges, etc.] even though I have over 1500+ hours in the game & have my dream town)! :D

I am going to continue playing in my towns for at least another year, although I don't participate in one-year challenges (AC or otherwise). :)

yall who have been playing since 2013 must really love new leaf to keep playing wow

for me its gotten old and can't keep my interest for long. the thought of opening up my 3ds and checking in my town just seems like a task and i wanna keep myself away from animal crossing so the switch game is refreshing

I have a second game that currently has no save file in it but nah. Tried once last year, it was pretty boring. I couldn't last more than 2 months. I like to play it casually with long breaks, occasional resets til I somehow settle with something and all

Sure, I'll do 2019. I've played my town of 2018 every-single-day with absolutely no TT and it's been more enjoyable than any of my other towns. No way would I ever transfer even if it will be possible, which I seriously doubt.

It's most likely that I will. I bought my niece a copy of AC in August and I plan on celebrating all the holidays with her. Plus, she doesn't like going to the island, so I will have to go beetle hunting for her.

Yes I will! But I started today. I guess AC switch will come out around this time next year and I hate starting with snow.

wait, what is the one year challenge?

You start a new town and play it for a full year (365 days), often putting restrictions on yourself and your town.

As for the thread's topic, I am doing a "until the new game releases" challenge.. heh.

I was thinking about it since new leaf is as cheap as its ever been on the eshop atm but I honestly don't know if I'll have time as I'm in my final year of college. But I might give it a go anyways! I'll be starting fresh on the switch though
