seriously! I don't ever want an Uchi because I always get annoyed by how rude they are and can't befriend them.

for example I spoke to Deirdre like twice and on the second time she goes "You again? Whaddya keep talking to me for?" psh fine bye then.

also I was walking around my town to place a public work project and I spoke to Canberra and she was like "What a rare sight, you're actually doing work, Tessie." like WHAT? girl move out then.
every other personality showed their excitement about a new project.

I find em much more rude than cranky! it's weird because people described their personality as caring but I find them mean. and it's hard to befriend them. I hate uchis >:| why do they request the cutest public works project though T_T

one more thing to add! I dreamed of a town and there was an Uchi villager, Muffy, and she goes something along the lines of "I don't feel comfortable telling you my name in a dream" ?????

uchis are so weird. hate em

I hated them for a long time mostly because they're usually creepy looking but I understand what you're saying! Muffy was like that for a while, but after they become your friend they are really nice

No way, Uchis are total bros.
They're my favourite personality (too bad there aren't many cute ones).
Uchi's are more bro than my male villagers.
Maybe you just haven't befriended them enough yet.

They've never come across as rude to me, but i'm also one of the rare few who doesn't find Jocks annoying heh...

Idk if it's because I'm just older and I worked retail for years so it takes a lot for me to actually get offended at dumb things people say, or if maybe I'm just too enamored with my animals to actually take some of what they say as rude, but I've just never found 99% of the dialogue anything other than innocent and fun.

I mean they definitely have their moments, but for the most part none of them have ever come across badly.

I actually like Uchis too. They're not my favorite personality but they're in the middle. I've had Shari and Phoebe and love them both. Maybe they're part of the reason too. I could see myself being less forgiving of some of the other villagers, since I actually dislike many of the designs, so maybe the fact that I like Shari and Phoebe's designs plays a part -shrug-

I felt the same way with Paula. At first, I was okay with her, though I thought she was creepy--especially when she wanted something; she would sway her whole body around right in my face <.<; but, it was the "You again? Whaddya keep talking to me for?" thing that put me off. When I looked up the definition of uchi, I got the impression they were supposed to be really caring, but i didn't really get the kind impression from Paula.

To be fair all the animals have that kinda weird dialogue when you talk to them a lot. Lobo gets openly annoyed if I spam him, Puck acts sad and confused, and Lolly tried to be nice but I can legit imagine the eye twitch haha. So I guess the Uchi lines also just don't strike me at all because I've come to expect the "annoyed" lines to come out.

I definitely found them rude the first time I played the game! I think I eventually just got used to it since I don't find them rude any more, but it really threw me off, too, especially like you said, they're supposed to be a caring personality.

Spam-talking is not the greatest way to judge an animal's rudeness. I mean, they have lives too, and you go up to them and just "blah blah blah tell me things". And snooties will make jokes about you doing work too, I believe Freya has--besides, it's not like it's false, you don't do even a third of the mayoral work that Isabel does. Just sayin'...

But yeah no uchis are great. Phoebe gives me a lot of advice on winning fights, like only picking fights if I have to, and Muffy's super sweet and chill. I love uchis <3 they're my favourite personality probably. The thing is that they're supposed to be caring in a gruff sort of way, not necessarily saccharine-sweet caring. They're like the big-sibling, teasing-but-loving relationship.

I said I only spoke to her twice...and it wasn't spammed. it was like an interval of 3 hours. so weird.

I guess I only have bad experiences with Uchi...but whenever a villager really annoys me, it has always been Uchi xd

to each their own

Uchis definitely aren't my favorite personality type, but I don't find them to be too bad.

I don't particularly find them rude, just...a bit quirky. They aren't afraid to speak their mind, and I admire that.

Frita got all mad at me for waking her up on the bench. So weird because usually she's extremely nice and follows me everywhere.

i personally cant stand uchi villagers. i hate girls in general bc of the way most of them treat people or talk, so uchis just remind me of them. they're not always rude to me though--but there was this one time a uchi complimented my hair bow wig then criticized me for wearing it all the time or something like that. i know its just a game, but i was ticked off haha
that villager isnt in my town anymore

Really? I've only ever gotten that criticism from Snooties because I always wore my braided wig lol. I didn't know Uchis would bring it up too. Learn something new erryday I guess o3o

Anyway Believer pmuch brought up a lot of my thoughts. They are meant to be more gruff and rough around the edges, like that teasing older sibling relationship, while Peppies are meant to be kinda like younger siblings and Normies are the mommies of the bunch. Snooties are kinda like older siblings too but more like that really feminine older sister, while Uchis are more like that tomboyish sister who's a bit closer in age. Or an aunt. Uchis are a LOT like aunts lol.

But yeah, it is to each their own I guess haha. I mean a lot of people dislike Snooties but they're actually my favorite personality, and I tend to dislike the Peppy persona on many animals with the exception of Rosie, Bunnie, and a few others. So I guess I just have different tastes x3

I'm on the fence. I have Naomi who is a pain to deal with yet I was surprised that I was getting attached to Muffy, she is such a sweetheart :)

Whoops! Just realized Naomi is a snooty. I guess that means I like uchi personalities or at least Muffy, hehe.
