Anyone else find flowers annoying in NH?

I agree so much, I'm trying to get control over my flowers but the fact you can't store them or atleast easily buy all seeds to replace the ones I then sell (and having to use a shovel and then sometimes just plucking them and being stuck with a flower in your inventory) is annoying
I like that running can't destroy them anymore, but it's so much more tedious to organize them now

You could put fences around to stop them from spreading.

I honestly wish flowers didn't breed if they weren't in pairs... I'd be fine if it were that way.
Yes and no. I'm glad they're hardy but flower breeding especially gaining unwanted colors is bothersome.
I already got an army of pink flowers steadily growing. Dreading the day I start trading them. I wish they could stack in the inventory.

Oh, I must be crazy haha. I LOVE it. It took forever making my town in New Leaf into a giant flower field, but I can expect to have lots of pretty new flowers after a single rainy day in New Horizons. It's making decorating my town so easy, and there's always someone ready to buy whatever it is that you're selling anyway from my experience, even if it's just a bunch of basic color flowers. I definitely do agree that getting rid of them takes forever. I normally just outsource this part to my friends ahaha. Bring your own shovel and enjoy your free lilies. I wish there was like a scythe or something that could harvest flowers the regular way if you held it.

I completely agree! I practically have to beg my friends to come dig up flowers to take home because I hate doing it myself. I wish there was a lawn mowing tool or something that just plows through flowers and weeds

Yes they were driving me crazy until yesterday I spent an hour just flowerproofing my whole island Fences stop them from spreading, and so do paths as long as the path isn't dirt or sand. Custom paths work too so for all the places that I didn't want fences/would be too cramped with fences, I placed unobtrusive custom paths (clover and mushroom overlays on the grass etc). I felt like I was laying down salt circles lol.
But now finally only the flowers i WANT to breed will be allowed to breed.

It’s starting to get annoying even after it rains, more flowers just spawn so I ended up selling some of them except for the hybrids which get relocated. In the beginning I started getting addicted with planting flowers in my island and now it’s just getting annoying that I ended up sell them and replace them with flowers from Leif.

Nope. It's one of my favorite parts of this game. I'd sell my soul at this moment to breed a purple tulip, hyacinth, windflower, and/or pansy. Those jerks are hard to come by.

I feel this so much, I spent a good while trying to TT someone out and I have every tile in my island filled with flowers, my game is lagging baaaaaad. I'm begging people to take my flowers just because I think it would be waste, but I may just throw them all away tomorrow. They are worth nothing on Nook's Cranny, so when cleaning out i just carry with me a garbage can and place it near me, but it is still a pain because your shovel break. gggggghhbbh

Yes and no. Yes because I was planning on using a dirt path, but my flowers kept growing onto the path.
I'm okay with the flowers breeding so quickly when I'm trying to get more hybrid flowers. Once my single pink tulip that had no other tulips around it decided to create another. I don't time travel but my flowers have gotten a bit out of hand. This is why I decided to place a trash can near one of my villagers houses.

Yes. I grew a bunch on a two story cliff but decided to lower them a level,m. Unfortunately I couldn't destroy the cliff with them on, couldn't destroy the flowers, or stack them.... so I had to dig up as many as I could and run over to Nook's to sell them. It was such a pain >~>

I thought it was just me. I have giant patches of blue and purple windflowers along with giant patches of pink, red, yellow, orange, white, and purple roses. It’s annoying to have to dig them out one-by-one and having to use up many shovels just to throw them out.
