Maybe not the entire island, but perhaps a small area or around the villager houses. It depends if we are getting some good looking Halloween items.

I’ve already started with a few things for Halloween. I’m trying not to get too ahead of myself considering that we may get items at the next update. So far I’ve used a few bug off items (spider webs and doorplates) and have started placing items like skeletons and other custom designs down. I’ve kind of hit a wall with what I’m willing to do so until some more fall recipes come out or we get new items, I’m only lightly decorating for Halloween!

I’ve already started! I used a Jack o lantern and little ghost design and placed them around town, behind trees, etc. It’s super cute to walk through and look for hidden ghosts!

I haven't really started decorating for Halloween yet, but I am planning to make a fall-themed room in my house!

I don't celebrate Halloween so it's unlikely that I would decorate the island for it. Maybe just a single room in the house, if there are new Halloween-related items that I like the look of.

I might if there’s some Halloween items out by the time, but i feel as if it will be a next year thing. Since I assume, similar to how NL works. You have to find Jack, give him candy and then get given a random Halloween item. Maybe?

I’m hoping there’d be some seasonal furniture to start decorating but I highly doubt it.

If I ever get a second Switch/island I'm tempted to do a Halloween island- not like a haunted island like some of the really creepy ones I've seen, but more of a fun and playful spooky vibe, like the in-game event has (lots of purple and orange and pumpkins and candy and stuff) I've already brainstormed what villagers I'd have, lol

I'm REALLY eager to see what the event brings, though. I'm trying not to get too excited (I don't want to be disappointed, after all) but I'm a bit nervous since they didn't bring back any of the prior Egg series, so I'm wondering if we'll get a fully new Halloween series, and what it'll look like.

One tip for those already decorating- the birthday table, customized orange, is PERFECT for Halloween. I have two set up with chairs, and a birthday sign customized orange and turned backwards (so it doesn't say "Happy Birthday") and it looks great!

I mean, the next update is going to feature Jack- we know that much. And I don't see why we'd have a Bunny Day event, but not Halloween. If anything, I imagine Halloween will be MORE exciting and last longer- like Bunny Day.
Whether that's a good or a bad thing depends on the person, I suppose. But I personally can NEVER get enough Halloween

Yah, I was pleasantly surprised when I noticed that about the birthday set! I'm eventually planning on doing a Halloween room in my witch house, and I'm definitely putting the tables down there after my "festival" is over. I bet they'll look nice with whatever Halloween furniture we'll be getting!

Yes! Halloween is my favourite holiday irl and I'm excited to be festive in game as well!

So far I have pumpkin and witch paper Lanterns, Jack O'Lantern 'hats' to look like real ones, a stall set up to sell Halloween cakes, a pumpkin patch and carving station, candy bucket 'hats', and ghosts for the graveyard!

I can't wait to see what they provide for us in the upcoming update!

YES YES YES Halloween is my favourite holiday I am so excited to play the update. I hoping for really amazing spooky furniture and other items we can unlock. I hope the items are like Pocket Camps. I also like that we can now put furniture outside I will be putting coffins all around my graveyard.

If we actually had stuff to decorate the island in for the theme? Yes I would. As it stands now the only stuff that speaks to me for Halloween are the spiderwebs (can't decorate outside anyway) and the tombstones. Not a whole lot to work with. And you know what would had been great? Dead perfect fruit trees.

It really depends if new Halloween sets/DIYs are even introduced (or, as been the case, so far, reintroduced) such as sweets set, creepy/spooky, etc.

It'd be nice if we had actual pumpkins to harvest to craft a pumpkin furniture set and some Jack-o'-lanterns.

Also, if our villagers don't dress up as Jack on Halloween and harass you for candy there is going to be a RIOT.

Hopefully it'll last longer, considering how bunny day was. I'd love to see the villagers have their own little costumes in the daytime, and then have the pumpkin heads on at night for the jack event. But that's wishful thinking.

I mean I love the halloween furniture in NL, I pretty much spent a few hours running around, hoping to locate Jack before one of the non-jack's grabbed me. So I do really hope the furniture is brought over or is redesigned to be something new.

But yeah, Never have enough Halloween!

If I can get my hands on halloween furniture before the day than yes. I've been planning a "haunted house" for sometime now. Really need gyroids for it though :c
