Anyone decorating their island for Halloween?

Nope. My island isn’t close to being done, not to mention that I’m out of ideas that I can do with the furniture that we have :/.

i want to! i'm working on it atm, but i'm also waiting to see if we'll get halloween event furniture and more seasonal items for autumn.
i really hope we get jack o lanterns as a craftable item too.

I mean, I'm starting, but obviously I'm waiting for the Halloween event to fully decorate for it 
I mean, the last update trailer teased the next update with Jack. And we had a Bunny Day event. There is absolutely no chance there ISN'T going to be a Halloween event!
But I started doing a harvest festival area, with games and stalls and eating areas and hay beds decorating it... it won't be fully complete until Halloween comes around, but so far it's awesome, and I'll be uploading my dream address (finally!) when it's all done

I’m hoping the update brings more Halloween-ish items to decorate around my town. I’m not necessarily decorating for Halloween, but I have somewhat Halloween vibes going on. My town is supposed to be gloomy, so there’s already some parts that are ready for Halloween

Oh you KNOW IT. I'm mainly waiting for the October update to drop to add more spooky items to the game, though, since otherwise I'm kinda lost on what to do. I'd use mushrooms if I time traveled, but I don't, sooo,
i'm hoping for more halloween items to appear (hopefully newer ones, not only the spooky and creepy sets) but i will def be attempting to decorate for halloween bc its my favorite holiday !

Right now I'm focusing more on general autumn items, but when the update comes, I'll take advantage of it to add Halloween areas to my house and island.

I want to try...but I don't really know what to use yet. I updated my home's exterior to be black and white with a purple roof and door...and I added the green variant of the spider doorplate as well. I also made a rose bed DIY in black. Aside from that...I don't have any inspiration yet.

I have always wanted to do an entirely creepy themed island but end up copping out and doing something cutesy in the end. I wish there were more spooky items at our disposal.
items that’ll drop in the next update then I’ll consider decorating! I don’t have enough custom design slots to use on pure Halloween designs 
Like everyone else, I'm waiting for the Halloween update for new furniture and decorations. I'll try to farm as many spider webs and spider doorplates in the last BugOff this weekend but thats all Im going to do until the update
If I ever get a second Switch/island I'm tempted to do a Halloween island- not like a haunted island like some of the really creepy ones I've seen, but more of a fun and playful spooky vibe, like the in-game event has (lots of purple and orange and pumpkins and candy and stuff) I've already brainstormed what villagers I'd have, lolI have always wanted to do an entirely creepy themed island but end up copping out and doing something cutesy in the end. I'm REALLY eager to see what the event brings, though. I'm trying not to get too excited (I don't want to be disappointed, after all) but I'm a bit nervous since they didn't bring back any of the prior Egg series, so I'm wondering if we'll get a fully new Halloween series, and what it'll look like.
One tip for those already decorating- the birthday table, customized orange, is PERFECT for Halloween. I have two set up with chairs, and a birthday sign customized orange and turned backwards (so it doesn't say "Happy Birthday") and it looks great!

I don't celebrate Halloween at all, but if I wanted to I'd probably just spam skeletons all over my island because lul haha funny spoopy creppy calcium bois
