Anybody planning up a new town?

I'm neck-deep in planning a new fairy tale themed town right now! I, uh, didn't realize how much more effort it takes to plan out a town ahead of time rather than just winging it the whole time ε-(?・`)

I'm currently planning out a town as we speak!

I've been trying to come up with a decent idea, as I've been wanting to do something with fairies and 'magical' themes. Recently, I've gotten the idea to have an all (or mostly) deer fairy tale forest town, with my character, Pranceen, a witch who lives deep within the enchanted woods.

Honestly, I don't have much of a backstory other than that, as it's a HUGE work in progress, but I'm liking how it's going so far!

I'm currently working on another town, it's a small town sorta thing. Real cutesy, currently I have planned where the cafe, Police station and campsite are going(I'm making a forested area around the campground and one house, plus a sign labeled Beware of Bears, and I'm gonna plot reset Klaus into the area. because why not?) The cafe is going into an area diagonal from there, then the police station is next to the train station and maybe I'll put the bus stop near by

subscribed, this seems like a very interesting thread

I am a week into my new town named Zenheart. For it, I made a rule set called a Zenlocke that makes for a peaceful, ever-changing town of villagers coming and going.

So far, adapting a town to be flexible to change is quite challenging, yet very fun. I might get a dream address up and running sometime!

3 things:
1: Boop and hi guys!
2: Woah, I did not expect this many people to reply.
3: Updating town, as I got some awesome backstory and character names.

potentially! less of "planning new town" and more of "doing better job planning current towns."

the woods has definitely lost what it was supposed to be -- a nosey visiting scientist (sage) trying to discover the secrets of the woods, with nara and other characters trying to defend the town from the ~scary outsider~

and even pouring has kind of lost its way?? it was supposed to be the super basic aesthetic rainy town and has taken a slightly more mystical turn that IDK if i like???

My town currently is just kind of a random mix of things I like with no one specific theme. It's kinda foresty/whimsical, but i also wouldn't count it as a forest town yet??

I'm hiding bunny day eggs all over since my town name is Cape Egg, spotting the town with the little gyroids just because i think they're cute and kinda go with Coco, and then kinda just filling the map with PWPs, flowers, bushes, clovers, mushrooms and fairy rings, and trees that I like, how I like. Around Kiki's house I'm going for a bit of a studio ghibli feel, with a windmill and a tulip field surrounding that right next to kiki's house, and probably gonna lay gifts and such outside kiki's house too to go along with that little reference.

Since this is my first time starting ACNL again since way before the amiibo update, i'm kinda just giving myself full creative space and not limiting myself to one particular overlying theme. Which maybe I'll regret? But right now I'm just kinda enjoying the game this way, with a little bit of everything I like. But I'm hoping I can make it all look/feel cohesive enough!

Bluebell has been finished for a while and I’m finishing up Gyrois, so I’m in the early stages of finding a theme for my next town. I want to get out of the funk of making foresty towns though.

I'm planning on having two different characters for my town and having the rooms of their houses have some kind of common theme! Im not just completely sure of what themes they'll be yet haha.. I am planning to do quite a bit of gardening tho so I'm very excited!

I'm planning on making my town modern but not too modern with plenty of trees and flowers. I also found some cool Mario Kart Paths online that I may do something with instead. I don't really know tbh. I'm just focusing on getting dreamies and the police station and then I'll decide

I'm literally planning the everloving crab out of my town while playing it for the first day

I've just made a new town.

Asgard, Mayor Valkyrie, possible other human residents are Loki, Thor, Hulk? (love my big green scientist)
Town colour theme is going to be reds, golds and blacks. Yellows too.

Yes!! I currently have two files.
1. Town: Boba | Mayor: Matcha
2. Town: Stardust | Mayor: Twinkle
Both are still WIP though. :) I haven't come up with a theme yet. Any suggestions?

Hello! I suggest like a moon/astronomy theme for Stardust or you can be fun with it and make it creepy or something.

I don't even know where my cartridge is, been playing WW (The old days...)

Currently in the process of crating my 2nd and 3rd town simultaneously. One is going to be Country/western themed, so very remote and less modern. My third town I plan on it being simplistically Animal Crossing, nothing too crazy, just a town with some cool looking villagers that I like! I might try to make all villagers live in perfect blocks, but I have not completely decided yet.

I got bored and started a new town after not touchi my game for two months. I am going for toyland theme. My mayor is named Doll and I plan on putting her in a Lolita dress to make her look more doll like. I want to get villagers like Teddy and Stitches to move in, and build a play ground for them.

Ive made two towns so far. No regrets. Im plan on making a third. With all of my favorite amiibo dreamies. I cant get enough ACNL
