Anybody else sick of the snow?

i do miss the green a lot, but my decorations are all so colourful that i actually don't mind the snow too much. my island looks better during the winter than i originally thought it would

The only time I ever step into snowy season is to restock my stringfish models, personally I think the snow is ugly as all heck in NH, only looked good in wild world to me o-o

Yes and no. No because I like the way it looks. Yes because I'm so damn tired of having to dig up new random flowers every time it snows.
This is so true! It takes me ages the day after it snows to go around and dig them all up. 😂

Im in the Southern Hemisphere so its summer at the moment but when it was winter here I did absolutely hate it, the first month was really cool but yeah after a while it go pretty meh. At least for you guys in the north it'll be leaving soon :D

Oh nooo, I forgot the grass is dead when the snow goes for a bit. I wonder how long into March that lasts?
I tt'ed forward well into March and the grass starts to look lively again in the first week or so :)

I actually love the snow in NH, it's not as dreary as in past titles. but yeah I miss the green grass a lot, my town's flowery aesthetic looks nice in snow but it looks much better in greenery.

i like the snow at night, it makes the lights in my town look so cool! in the daytime its quite nice too, but something about the night makes it look so dreamy~

I live in Wisconsin in real life and I have super fragile bones at a p young age and like I enjoyed the snow and snowmen for.... a little bit but yeah I'm ready for literally everything to be back to spring and summer. I don't want to time travel really, and I'm really enjoying the mardi gras stuff, but like it's already kind of miserable to feel like I can't leave my house because I'll either catch covid or slip on ice and shatter a leg. :(I'll be super happy for both real life and AC snow and ice melts to happen.

currently living in my happy place of march/april lol bc the snow makes it so hard to visualize while terraforming!

The snow lasts until Feb 24th. Kinda wish Festivale didn't have snow though. The event would be much more livelier and colorful with all the greenery back.

I'm southern hem, but I actually quite enjoy the snow when it arrives in the middle of the year. I think it looks really pretty, plus winter is my favourite season irl. My Island looks best in Summer though, so that's probably mostly where I'm staying for now.

Feeling like us southern hem people get a perk having the summer grass during Festivale 😍 😍

While Nintendo touts ACNH as being a beacon of "inclusivity" - someone should inform them that a large portion of the world doesn't experience the four seasons. Give me a tropics option and have me cycle through a wet and dry season please! Everytime it snows it takes me out of the immersion. I can deal with it for December - I'm in a Christmas mood. Post January? Today I learnt that winter doesn't end for my friends up north until March!

It's supposed to be like Brazil's carnaval right? It's only fair. I just wish the rest of us could enjoy that too!

Nah, I still enjoy it. Winter is in general one of my favorite seasons (both IRL as well as in-game) and I feel like my island looks the best when it's covered by snow. Besides, I'm still missing some of the Frozen DIYs, so I'm glad that I have some days left to build more Snowboys.

Winter is nothing without snow, in AC or IRL. Besides, where I'm from we don't even get snow unless you go climbing mountains, so I appreciate it a lot. What I'm sick of is not of the snow but of the lack of events. Thats why January was the worst month so far (tied with September). In my opinion, NH Winter is better than NL Winter. I love how the leaves are a pale green rather than an ugly brown, and with the snow it brings out the seasonal aesthetics.

I think it would be veryyyy hard to code entirely different seasonal patterns. They'd have to make entirely new seasonal furniture (there'd be no way to obtain the snow furniture) and then people would complain that there was no way to obtain certain items on your own and that nintendo was 'pushing trading' :/

I'd be completely okay with "summer all year round". The snowmen aren't even interesting in this game. To see christmas lights with green grass in the background will always be more realistic for my experiences.

Well that's very nice and genuinely I wish for you that there was such an option. But I think Nintendo would get harrassed a lotttttt by people saying that there wasn't enough content :/ and that it wasn't fair that people couldn't get ice furniture. Unless they made even more furniture sets, in which case people would get mad they couldn't get all of them by choosing one climate.

Honestly, I appreciated the snow at first but yeah it's wearing out its welcome, I can't wait until spring so that we get a change of scenery. Fall was really beautiful, but it felt like it went by fast tbh

It doesn't bother me too much bc I find it pretty but I am looking forward to some green grass. I believe we have about a month or less left of snow? o:

i've been tired of winter since the day it started snowing. maybe it wouldn't be so bad if the snow wasn't such a bright white but NOTHING looks good on it. i'm sure it's better for islands that are more citycore or industrial (probably bc 90% of those islands are covered by patterns!), but the blueish tint the trees have is honestly just .it looks so bad!
