Anybody else sick of the snow?

I suffer from seasonal depression, and it lasts all winter, every winter.

I love snow, but I have to agree tgat pretty much everything looks better in other seasons. (Fall is my favorite overall.)

I AM getting sick of it because a) snowmen, b) golden spots are hard to see and c) AC is way too bright on my TV and all other settings look like crap, and it gives me headaches if I play docked for too long.

While I love the sound it makes, I'm getting tired of all the grey everywhere tbh ! I prefer playing at night where at least the sky is dark blue, it gives some "color" to an otherwise very grey world. But I will be sad when it'll be gone and will definitely be exited to see it again next winter.

I think all the white is flattering, but yeah, nothing beats spring in my opinion, particularly cherry blossom season!

I don't think it makes it look ugly persay. I think winter is just a kinda meh season for a lot of people anyway, and people get S.A.D. and it's cold, and miserable, and I think the snow kinda reminds people of that. AC is supposed to be a game to take you out of real life for a while, but still resembling real life and stuff. That being said, I'm not doing anything else on my 2nd island until it all thaws out because I feel nothing, it's not inspiring me, it's not making me want to continue forward with editing the island and stuff, and I can't visualise how I want it to look properly. A lot of people seem to compare AC with Stardew Valley, and I think if AC had a bit more stuff to do in winter other than catch snowflakes and make snowboys, and the odd fish/bug tourney, it might make people warm up to it a bit more, pardon the pun.

Yeah, I’m beginning to realize that the time between New Year’s and Valentine’s Day is my least favorite time of the year IRL. All the exciting holiday stuff is over, so the next month and a half is just cold, lifeless, and uneventful. :/ I live in Texas. So things warm up earlier for us.

It started snowing heavily where I live recently, and there's snow all over outside. It actually makes me like the snow a little more in AC because it feels more real.

I still can't wait for it to be over though, I miss the green.

Yeah, at least with the first half of winter there's the holidays if you celebrate, and then new year, and valentines day (or as I like to call it, forever alone day). There's just such long pauses between each holiday in the 2nd half of winter, and then there's the fact that January has 61 days in it, or it feels like it does :'D

Yeah it's one thing to have it in the game, it's another to have it in the game and also live with it. I never knew I had it and I am pretty sure I got it this year. Probably due to the pandemic because it's definitely not helping.

I suffer depression in general, and the snow makes me feel like I'm being buried alive.

It also causes ocular migraines that I've only started having since the NH winter.

The snow gives a magical, pristine, and mystical look to my island, especially during nighttime snowfall when it's all cloudy/foggy/misty, since everything tends to get this ethereal glow that's hard to attain otherwise. In general, though, I enjoy the winter look and feel of my island, but I definitely could use a change. I actually TT'd to summer yesterday, since I'm preparing to upload my dream address pretty soon. I started playing in the fall and didn't get to experience my island in spring or summer until now. So, it's even more enjoyable after quite a long winter!

yes. I was tired of seeing green for so long so I was excited for the snow. now I'm tired of seeing snow and can't wait to see green again :'p I feel like my island theme doesn't look great in winter either, it's def better in spring/summer

Sick and tired of the snow also. We have had heavy snow here on and off for the last week IRL and I hate that too! I am working on a design for my island and seeing it covered in snow makes it difficult to imagine developments or how I'd like them to look.

yeah, i am over the snow. i was so excited, but i have a more natural themed island. i feel like my island just looks very dreary right now. i also think the flowers look a bit out of place with the bright green stems. i wish they changed a bit like how the bamboo does when it snows. i am very excited for spring!

I think it looks great for a little while, but like real life, I'm ready for snow to melt so the green can come back! I'm especially excited since I've made so many changes and I'm anxious to see what they'll look like with the snow gone

I always get sick of snow around February. The nice thing though is that it goes away far sooner than where I live. March may still be winter here, but at least my Animal Crossing town is nice and green.

YES, i NEED the snow gone, i'm playing NL but my town currently looks kinda sucky cus the green isn't there and my town is tropical modern theme
