I am always really careful when in other peoples towns I am more paranoid about that, and yes I have had bad experiences before...someone managed to jump around so fast, say they went in the wrong house, not follow me to the home on a give and I should have flipped the switch but am so trusting that I lost all my hybrids in my main completed town except he didn't have time to hit my one gold rose.
Now though especially after that, I have found that going for signatures and being told it's ok to just go down the path and talk to the six or go in houses, I am careful and update every move but it's nice to not be so scared in other towns too. I realized that interaction is a big part of this game that I am depriving myself of and I don't really have a lot to lose that can't be replaced so as far as my towns, I am much more open right now to thinking people know etiquette like me and if over a certain age I would like to have more actual game interaction friends maybe a small close trusted circle as there are a lot of good people on here. I used to be so paranoid and am in others towns but in mine I feel like I actually play not just cycle and I am not getting all the fun out of it by going routine day by day on my own and I have no friend IRL that plays so, I've opened up to trying to plan some interactions and see how it goes with others that are looking. Obviously if they do something crazy I won't keep playing and will report but I don't really expect it, and a few flowers isn't going to make me isolate. I have enough of that being stuck home ATM.
Anyway I didn't think I would have so much opinion on that but I really felt like it was a lonely game last night and people cycle or what not instead of play or get bored because of this paranoia and not using the interactive feature that so many stopped playing cf because they lost it. No point in having the prettiest town or some colored flowers that I at least don't want from you if you aren't sharing the game I used to feel opposite but last night I just wanted more interaction with not just the community but the community and the game it's for.
