There are a few villagers I have a really strong connection with. Bam was my first campsite villager and he moved right next to me and has lived in my town for over a year and a half, and Maple has been with me for a little over a year and she's always been a villager I had wanted since I was 7 and finally I have her after 8 years! I also have a strong connection with Nana the monkey, who I brought into my town as a tribute to my Nana who committed suicide four years ago. We were very close and she loved animals and my whole town really is a tribute to her in a way :) Plus in German games, Nana the monkey's name is Dorothea, which was my great grandmother who died a few weeks after my grandma's name. I was very close to both of them and it just kind of keeps their memory alive in my heart :)

Antonio was my best friend in WW. I was devastated when I forgot to talk to him for ONE DAY and he moved away. I've got him again in AC:NL and he's still my best buddy. Dora was my second favorite villager in WW, and she'll always have a special place in my heart, though I've never gotten her again. I also just love Vesta, who I always wanted but could never get until NL. They're just my favorites because I think they're cute and they're always friendly to my mayor, though, not for any really deep reasons like yours.

Biskit and Pecan, Beardo and Penelope.

Biskit and Penelope are 1/3 of the Six Sages (Shadow and Forest, respectively).
Pecan is the Triforce of Wisdom.
Beardo is just one of my in-game friends.

This is really sweet~thank you for sharing!!! I think we all have favorite villagers but it sounds like yours have a special meaning :)

Any villagers that I had in my first Wild World town will always be kind of special to me, as I spent so much time with them and didn't let them move out for years. Those would be Rosie, Whitney, Teddy, Melba, and Static. However, I'm not sure I'd like to have them in my New Leaf town because there are soooo many cute and new villagers out there for me to colonize.

One of them would be Lolly, because she was my first Normal Villager in my first AC game (City Folk).
Opal moved into my City Folk town, but she was also a starter villager in my first town that I created so I found that a bit funny.

And right now Diana because I resetted on January 4th and her birthday is also coincidentally on the same day (did not plan for this at all). I also got her from my campsite in my first town lol
