I like Del the most out of the three

My daughter was desperate to get Octavian off her island. He was stubborn and would not leave on his own, so we scrutinized the list of crankies and compared the prices of their Amiibo cards on eBay. Groucho won out, and he has been surprisingly pleasant. More than pleasant, enjoyable even. His house and clothing are pretty cool too. I agree with the poster about the bears being softies. I bought Grizzly for my island and he's thoughtful and kind for the most part. I also find both Groucho and Grizzly's voices palatable. We couldn't stand Octavian's.
Personally I like Frank the best, followed by Groucho then Del. I really have always liked the Eagles in Animal Crossing, and Frank is one of my favorites in that group, and for Groucho, I think he looks pretty cool. Groucho would definitely be one of my favorite bear villagers.

Del is kind of cool lookin, but I don't like Groucho or Frank very much. If I saw Del on a mystery island I'd invite him to try him out!

I think all of them are excellent. My favorite of them is Del, because of his ship design, but Frank and Groucho are also good villagers.

Who are your other villagers? Or least the ones you know you're keeping? Sometimes helps to know to figure out which one would fit in/stand out enough with their look, house, theme or personality.

Del is a submarine-texured Alligator based off the Yamato and his house is akin to a submarine's interior.

I like them all. Del and Frank especially. I know that Del hobby is fitness but if Frank's hobby is music, I would take Frank over Del on hobby alone.
My town is fitness themed. Del has a fitness hobby while Frank looks like a jock and a fitness-themed house but has an education hobby. Groucho is simply Groucho.
Regarding my villager line-up, I'm not really too strict on my theming right now because I'm still trying to obtain all reactions. I have all personalities on my island right now but I'll move out all females from my island later.
One of these three will be replacing Murphy, my other Cranky. I have Rolf but he's a permanent villager. Rudy, Sterling and Punchy are also permanent. Whitney, Agent S, Marina and Phoebe can't move until I get all exclusive reactions from them.
