I kind of lost all hope in my 2 local Goodwills. I hear all these cool stories about people finding $10 PS2s or whatever, but I've never had much luck. Until yesterday that is. I found Scribblenauts Unlimited, a game still usually sold for around $20, for only $4. I mostly got it out of nostalgia, as I loved Super Scribblenauts for the DS when I was younger, and hey, you can't beat that price.

Not at Goodwill but a few years ago I found a copy of SMB/Duck Hunt at a Salvation Army for $2. Still have it to this day.
Unfortunately, other than that they usually only have really old game consoles or games that nobody bothers to play. :(

Yeah, I find that it's mostly shovelware.

Ha, I wish. I've got quite a few secondhand stores like Goodwill and Salvation Army in my town and the next town over, but the stuff in them is flat out garbage. I'm not exaggerating - a lot of things are broken and the clothes even generally are stained and in bad shape.

I grew up in a different state and my mom was HUGE on flea markets, yard sales, and secondhand stores. She found awesome treasures all the time. It really does seem to depend on your town for how good these stores are.

I got a copy of Hey You Pikachu and the respective system. The system was the blue and yellow Hey You Pikachu edition. Unfortunately, the game was completely useless because it didn?t come with a microphone, and for the life of me, I could not find a damn microphone everywhere. I have checked online, and my only find was the entire set of the game, system, and microphone. Nobody was selling the microphone individually. So, I pretty much have this copy of Hey You Pikachu with the corresponding special edition Nintendo 64 console, and no microphone. I would still love to play the game, but it?s pretty much a lost cause if I can?t find the microphone for it. I do t want to buy the whole set. I just need the microphone. The microphone isn?t worth the price people are charging for the entire set. Seriously, if anyone knows where I can find just a microphone that works with Hey You Pikachu, please let me know. I have had this game forever, being unable to completely play it because of my lack of a microphone.

Oh, I forgot to include the price, which was the main reason I wrote this post. It was $10. It was quite a steal for the game and system together, even without the microphone.

i've scoped out all thrift shops in a huge radius around my home (mostly since i buy most of my clothes there and they're a good source for books), and i've yet to find a single decent game. all i ever find are old sports games or sims expansions. it's madness.

Since I work at a second hand store, yes I can confirm it's either old sports games or kids games for the DS like hamster or horse games. Sometimes we get fun PS2 games but that's it lmao.

Definitely there are games but they're the crappy ones nobody wants like movie games. The prices are always good, though unfortunately all the games are meh.

My friend found Chulip new and in the wrapper for $5 at GameStop when they were about to stop selling PS2 games. The game is rare and can cost upwards of $100. That's about the coolest thing I've ever seen.

I don't ever really go enough to of found anything notable, though my brother got the pokemon gold/silver gameboy color for like $10 at one. super good condition too. no notable wear or tear anywhere really

it's nothing wild, but my last nice goodwill find was this cat plushie. it's pretty big and it's kinda shaped like a body pillow. it's perfect to curl up with.

This wasn't Goodwill but I got a Gameboy Color at a garage sale once. It was broken due to battery leakage but it came with a Pokemon game in it, so I was thrilled. I play it occasionally on my SP.

Not Goodwill, but in the Nintendo finds theme, I got my girlfriend a New Nintendo 2DS XL at a pawn shop. She played Animal Crossing every day for three months straight though she has cooled down considerably.
