So, I was scrolling through Facebook just now, and one of my friends has a status update saying: "Over yer s**t man.. Grrrr."
Naturally, people asked who she was talking about. She responded saying she doesn't "wanna post it on my status..."
-_-
Like, you do realise that people are going to ask who the hell you're talking about right? And she does this basically once every week, this same person just posts vague statuses about how they're "over" it or "I thought I could trust you, but then you do this to me." And then people ask what's wrong or this is about, and she either replies with "inbox" or something along the lines of "it doesn't matter."
Ranting is fine sometimes, healthy even. It would be hypocritical of me to say that ranting isn't good, since I'm ranting right now. But rant to the people who know who the hell you're talking about instead of begging people who don't know who you're talking about to ask about it, just so you can be all "Oh I don't want to post it on my status."
Why post that you're angry at someone to all of your 943 Facebook friends if you don't want them to know what you're talking about? What does that achieve, apart from keeping the few people who actually still care what's going on after the 100,000th vague post in suspense, or getting sympathy from distant acquaintances you haven't spoken to in years, or making people who are tired of vague Facebook statuses even more annoyed?
Sorry, rant over. Just had to get that off my chest. Now for the obligatory question to leave everyone with: Do you also want to throw your phone at the wall when 30% of your Facebook news feed is filled with this one person leaving vague statuses?
