anime cliches

-"I Have my friends!" - Almost all main heroes
- how they talk a lot during a fight and no one makes a move
- They eat a huge amount of food
- The girl always love the cool guy
- The girl hates the guy, but falls in love with him later
- The girl screams the male's name whenever she's in trouble

Any anime where the main plot is guys getting horny or nosebleeds from girls touching them, dressing in sexy outfits or anything else along the same lines are never worth the watch. Once or twice I can tolerate it but if that is literally the main plot or the main joke, I will not watch it and will classify it as pure garbage.

"cold persons with tragic past" characters.. ugh.

if not used right it's just blech

romance/slice of life school anime clich?: the two MC:s are obviously in love, but they're too shy to express their feelings. the anime ends before they've actually become a couple or even confessed their feelings.......

I just started watching the Persona 4 anime and this is basically everything that it is lol. I'm pretty new to anime in general.

yeah, i really hate those kind of animes when that's the only actual plot. and it gets really saucy and obvious "notice me senpai" situations all the time.

also when they have like cold girl/zealous girl meeting obviously manly man and such uuuugh

lol there are so many

the summer festival, beach or onsen episode a few episodes before the end (in a 12 episode anime this episode will be around 8 episodes in) where nothing that's actually related to the story happens. No one ever mentions it again after it, it almost seems like everyone have forgotten about it... also the girls absolutely have to grope each other's boobs when they're bathing.

and!! when there is a character who is so bad in school that they fail every test.
They get told by a teacher that if they keep failing they won't be allowed to stay in their club!!
if it's a sports, club or friendship anime the group of friends will tutor the sucky student. If it's a romance anime the romance interest will study with them/try to tutor them.. They end up not studying at all but it's all fine anyways

and in shounen anime, some cool character will get every bone in their body broken or whatever and should have to stay in a hospital for years or even die, but they recover in just a few weeks. lmao. and they got so injured because they didn't give up in a fight against someone 100 times stronger than them.

You can't have multiple female characters and not expect a spontaneous beach volleyball tournament to happen.
Watch out for the team that consists of two rivals or both the small and large breasted characters, these are the teams that are probably going to wreck at spontaneous beach volleyball tournaments.

also these slacker/hikikomori person types that can play really good but can't cook or clean like.. Nodame from Nodame Cantabile. look i can play but i cant do a **** at home, now this guy helps me with everything he's my senpai yaaay.

no.

I hate the perverted little sister (or little sister personality, like Enju (and every other kid) from black bullet) who has a crush on her older brother (the mc) and calls him "onii-sama"... that is in so many anime and I don't get why, it is honestly so creepy, weird and annoying.

obvious seme/uke fake bdsm relationships in yaoi series.. like hi there pet now im gonna tie you up and paint you then let's woohoo.. umm no.

I've been noticing an increasing number of anime characters who over sleep and run out of the house with a big floppy piece of [what I assume is] toast in their mouth.

I also have to salute the parents of these characters for having toast ready in time for the main character to run past and take it. EVERY.SINGLE.TIME.

The worst cliche is when a female character falls on top of the guy protagonist on accident and then calls him a pervert. Even though she's the one that fell on top of him...???

The main character is either overpowered and there is only ever one person to come close to stopping them or that they never die.

I sorta wish there was an anime made revolving around all these cliches. I feel like that would be way too entertaining to watch. xD

nerdy guy shouts his confession of love while looking at the ground

i hate this it's in one of the few mangas i like

The whole cliche where the main protagonist is in love with this cutesy girl and his best friend happens to be a female also and she tries to help the protagonist get the girl he likes but in reality the protagonist's best friend is in love with him and she's hiding it.

I swear, 99% of shoujos involve some goddamn love triangle. Usually it happens between a girl, her best friend that's a boy, and some random character that pops up for the sake of the story. And then you have that girl side character getting herself a boyfriend too in some side story.
