Animal crossing causing switch to overheat?

Mine sounds like a plane that's finna take off but I just think it's cooling down like any other computer

Happens with a lot of games, but ACNH didn't really start doing that for me until I started swimming. It's natural though, and you have nothing to worry about. All consoles blow out hot air. Unless your Switch becomes too hot to hold, you don't have to worry.

mine does that whenever i start the game but it goes away after a few minutes. i haven't done any major terraforming or anything but i think my switch is able to handle it

I was playing ACNH for a couple hours in a row today, and my switch started blowing hot air out of the vent on the top and making a sound, it felt a little warm too. Now I was outside for a while and it’s pretty warm today. But it didn’t feel overly hot to the touch. Is this anything to worry about or is it just the switch cooling itself?

This happens to me literally every single time I play ACNH on handheld mode, probably because I live in a very hot city.

This only really happens when I'm playing AC and charging my switch at the same time :/

This happens to me quite often but it's only if I leave it laying on something. If I stand it up so the back of it can breathe, it's normally fine

The launch switch (model HAC-001) is known to get real hot after extended play, whearas the "New" switch (model HAC-001(-01) has a smaller processor, meaning less energy used, so less heat.

The difference is staggering as I own both models.
