I don't know if Steam mixed the dates up, but other sites say the deal only lasts until today at 1 PM EST (5 minutes from now).

Yeah, it was poor wording on their part. I think the game was free until Wednesday and the sale for the game lasts until Friday. Right now it's 80% off making it $4.
