Amiibo's & RV's?

So I have a bunch of the AC cards, and when I scan a special one (EG: KK Slider) with
Wisp - there's no option for RV's! Do I need a figure? And do all the figures come with the DS & the Wii U? And which figure would you recommend? ^^;;

Yes, from what I know you do need the figures for the RV's.

I'm not sure what exactly you mean with your second question... The figures are sold separately, and from what I know they all work with both the 3DS and Wii U, you just have to worry about the game. All of the AC figures should be compatible with ACNL, and there are a few from other games, such as the Splatoon and Zelda figures, that are also compatible.

Personally, I don't have any of the figures, but I think the SSB4 Villager one is super cool, since you can buy a gold statue of the villager. Assuming you can get Celeste's ribbon from Celeste or Lottie's wig from Lottie, I'd go with either of them, personally. Plus, the AC figures are actually pretty cheap in comparison to the others, at least on Amazon.

I know that Rover comes with the 3DS and WiiU. I don't believe they all do, but there may be more than one.

I believe all amiibo figures have the Wii U & 3DS for order, yeah. They won't necessarily be shown in the RV, but they'll be in the order list.

I think the Villager amiibo does too. Not sure about the zelda & splatoon villagers.

Every figured I've scanned had the 3DS and Wii U in their catalog -- but Isabelle had an Isabelle face plate New 3Ds, and Mable had both the Mable and Sable faceplates. So there are different ones!

I think the Villager amiibo has just the Wii U but not the 3DS, but the normal AC amiibo figures have both. You can also get them from fortune cookies! (besides the special plate ones)

I took some stuff to Recycle and Cyrus didn't recognize anything I had from the campground, so I don't know if you can refurb or not. I only had a few things, but I did take him the wii U hoping I could refurb it black.

the figures will work for the rvs however the regular amiibo cards out rn only give you the option to have that villager move in. the new cards won't be released until sometime in december and that is when you will be able to scan them and use them for camping!!

Oh, actually, he just offered to refurb my stack of books! I didn't take the 3DS back (different character, this one doesn't have one) so I don't know if you can do faceplate refurbs or not.

I just took the New Nintendo 3DS to Cyrus and he'll customize the cover plate or the system color
System color just switches between black & white

Face plates can use clothing, custom designs, black or polka dot which is interesting. HHD definitely let you choose the faceplates between isabelle, sable, mable, timmy & tommy and I think KK. I think I'll pop in KK Slider's amiibo tomorrow and check out what his looks like; maybe the face plates n3DSes count as different ones
