How soon after you scan in someone and move them into your town can you move them in again? In New Leaf you apparently had to cycle through 10 villagers, do the same rules apply in new horizons?

i'm assuming you're asking how soon can you scan in another amiibo after inviting in your previous amiibo that you've scanned? if that's the case then it can very well be the same day as the first scanned amiibo has moved in.

for example i scanned marshal in but is still unpacking, i can scan in a new amiibo, fang and start crafting for the first item all in the same day.

hopefully that makes sense!

it sounds to me like you're asking about the 16 villager cycle where you couldn't move in the same villager until 16 others had moved out after them in new leaf? the whole cycle is gone in NH, i moved snake in with an amiibo, had him move out later because i needed an open plot, and then immediately used his amiibo again to kick someone else out and get him back.

Yes! That’s what I was referring to. I wasn’t sure of the exact rule for new leaf but I knew you couldn’t immediately get someone back in your town. Thank you for clarifying !! :)

Colton moved to make space for Chief, and after I traded Chief, Colton came back right away. And I have found villagers that moved recently on islands the very next day. They will act as if it the first time you've met.
