Amiibo card question

So if you buy a pack of regular amiibo cards (series 1-4) and you decide you want one in the pack, can you scan that villager in to replace a current villager's house spot in your town? Or can you only do that with the welcome amiibo returning villagers?

To be honest, I'm still confused about all the amiibo stuff...

Yep. The Welcome Amiibo cards allow them to visit the new RV campground and then move in if you ask. The original Amiibo cards will just move in, or give you a random item if you choose "Give me something!" And if you currently have ten villagers, you can kick out one of your current villagers to move in the Amiibo card villager.

Yep! I think the standard card villagers just give a random spotlight item from the Nooklings.

Thanks! Bunnies are awesome. I think it took me...six to eight months? Gaston took forever to find because usually no one bothers trying to give him away/sell him.

Oh wow! That's impressive!! It's so hard for me to get villagers haha cause I have terrible luck with the campsite and I only recently decided I might buy some cards...your town sounds so cute! =]
