Amiibo card question..

Does anyone know if you tell a villager that is visiting your rv through wisp invite to live in your town, can you still invite them with the amiibo card to visit the rv campground to buy their furniture? I want to invite a certain amiibo card villager to live in my town but I don't want to not be able to buy all their furniture first.. since you can only buy 3 a day

You can't. But you can still summon them through wisp and get an item. I've tried it with Chai two times since she moved into my town and both times I got one of the items that you can buy from the RV. I don't know exactly how lucky I was/if there's a pretty good chance to get one of the exclusive items that way. But I wouldn't risk it. I think you should make sure you have all the items you want before you ask them to move in.
