I’ve just gone to buy an amiibo card on ebay for both Zucker and Skye and the bidding is ridiculous with like 4 days left, zuckers card is on £41 and skyes is on £30 like how much are people willing to pay...

Oh my god, they were roommates.
Thiiiis. I just picked up a Loot Goblin fanmade coin for Diablo 3 on Etsy for about $4: a steal when the original is exclusive nonsense. I was lucky to find Julian's card for only $10 before release, but the fanmade items are so much more reliably appropriately priced.

A few weeks ago, I spent $3.50 each for Blanche and Rolf on Etsy and they were authentic cards. I saw Fang for over $40 and I'm like, aahh no. Thankfully I found him on the island as I was looking at his card. lol

Yeah I’ve just been grinding nook miles hoping to get enough tickets to find my dreamies. I’m two days I’ve got 20 tickets so I’m hoping when I get to 50 I’ll find maybe at least one

I've been searching for Dotty with no luck. Anyone who's offered to sell her to me wanted a ridiculous amount for her so I turned to amiibo cards. Unfortunately they are extremely over priced anymore and I can't seem to find her amiibo available for a reasonable price. I don't have all the money in the world to be spending all this money on amiibo cards. I think people have just gotten more greedy as the demand for amiibo cards increased since NH's release. I did manage to find someone selling Dotty's amiibo for just $10 USD so I went to ask the seller if they still had it and what do you know, it was already sold. Anywhere that you CAN find amiibo cards for cheap are usually just sold out. I'm at a loss right now.

Well, homemade ones work just as well, but for those who are picky with cosmetic imperfections, it might not be your thing. But homemade amiibos with NFC stickers tend to work wonders :>
